10mm Universal wheel spacers - yay or nay?

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I'm after some 10mm wheel spacers for my 16v, i spotted some Universal ones on ebay last night, anybody used them? Had any problems with them?

They mentioned i might get wheel wobble over 65mph, as they were universal fit (with the slide holes, if that makes sense), bit worrying

Cheers

Ollie

Personally I'd return them and exchange them for a set of hub centric ones. My mate had issues with his cause the universal one snapped.

Ah not good, i take it the hub centric ones have the little dish so they fit the centre bore perfectly?

yup, but you need to ge the exact ones for your car, if you go onto venom motorsport and get the FK ones you will need to get the 20mm set as that is 10mm per side, they are available in hub centric and i think there about 40 odd quid? but you will need to buy 8 new bolts that are 10mm longer than your current ones. i think the center bore for the polo is 57.1mm?

57.1 correct.
