£2000

For sale is my Alpine White mk2 gti 8v. I've had the car for nearly a year now after searching around for ages to find a perfect example. Specifically a non-sunroof model (Anyone who knows about mk2 golfs will know this is the easiest way to break into them!).

This is a rare example of a mk2, including such features as air con (Try finding another one!). It also comes with big bumpers, lowered suspension, Ronal deep dish alloys, power steering, central locking, crystal headlights to give it a fresh look and a debadged grill.

The car has covered 127k miles and still drives like the day it left the factory. It grips the road like you won't believe due to the new suspension but yet amazingly retains a smooth yet firm ride.

The only reason for sale (and it pains me to do it) is because I have started doing alot of miles for work and don't want to run the old girl into the ground!

In march 2008 the following was done...

new cambelt and tensioners

now water pump

new auxillery belt

new pung leads

new plugs

new oil filter and oil

new rear beam bushes

new rear brake callipers ans pads

new wheel beaings

new fuel filter

new air filter (standard)

new wiper blades

new brake hoses all round and fluid

and it has boge dampers and 60 mm springs

Not so good points..

One or two small specs of rust through stone chips (Nothing that can't be sorted in a few hours)

And thats about it really!! Considering it's age this car really is in good condition. It's had the clutch done recently too.

I am open to offers but no stupid ones please

Viewing is welcomed but test drives will only be undertaken if you bring proof of insurance that covers you on this car or all the money in cash as a 'you break it, you buy it' arrangement... I don't want to end up with a smashed golf!

P/X A nice Polo

Any questions please don't hesistate to contact me on...

Thanks for looking

it a well maintained rare example!!!

Too pricey? :retard: I can vouch that this car is sooo clean! If I didn't need a diesel i'd buy it tomorrow. Whoever gets it will get a bargain and in my eyes it should be advertised for a lot more.

if its not selling at 2k it obviously shouldnt be advertised for a lot more
