5 doors are great mate, dont listen to them!!

cheers mate, less hassle people gettin in the back too lol but doubt thats gonna happen wen its slammed :-D

To be honest though, why a 5 door??

I'd always have a 3 door

BUTTTT, and this is a big but,

when they are modded right, e.g Babz 6N2, they can look fucking amazing and they are right up there with the 3 door cars!

IMO, 5 door Polos tend to look longer than 3 doors, so I would recommend getting some wheels that tuck and don't poke.

mines a 5 door pal, and your right less hassle, think 5 doors look just as good as 3 if not better ahahah

Open air FTW,mines a 3 door they are great in the summer mate.

I'd keep your 8v bumpers and be different.

8v bumpers are different for a reason, and that's because they look worse than 16v ones so no one wants them!

I would keep those wheels tbh. They look really smart on the car and different from the normal deep dish stuff people go for.

nice car mate

i was think about getting one

cheers lads! a dunno to be honest. a saw one a bit ago with deepdishes on it, looked sweet. yeah a was thinkin that, evryone a speak to has 16 bumpers they are nice but i'd like to b different. has any one seen the ultralite deepdish alloys? what you think?? I'm not too keen on the tucked in look, i like the sticky out look with alloys lol

dont get me wrong a like these alloys but wen i saw these ultralite extreme alloys a fell in love haha stretched an then slammed not stopped thinkin bout it lol

13s will probably look to small imo.

How much would you sell your current alloys for?

  • Author

yeah they be the ones =D its either them ones or the ones below, what u thinkin people?? yeh i thought that at first but theres a lad at the stockport cruise who's got 13's with fat stretched tyres and it looks the dogs =D erm am not too sure to be honest :? the tyres are decent all round, a few curbing marks an scuffs post-22123-1247411938.jpg

just to let you know mate, this car used to be running 13x9 wheels all the way around, i brought the wheels from the owner before you ;) and yes it looked phat!

on the contrary, i have 8v bumpers on mine and then tried 16v bumpers, but went back to the 8vs as they are less common in the modding world and i prefer them, at the end of the day its all down to personal preferance! but id keep 8v bumpers mate....looks pretty mint as is, but those 13x9s look the danglies and i want a set SOOOOO bad!

YOU ARE LEGEND ! your car looks amazin!! how much was it for the 5 and 10mm spacers ruffly? see now am torn between ultralites or stickin with my alloys =S honest mate your car looks really really well. by the way what splitter have u got on it? it just looks different thats all and i kno wen a lower it more that the one iv got on will drags its tits off lol

gugz your car looks sweet mate, those stretched tyres look so well, looks ace how its sat! also the colour proper sets the car off =D

They were about £20 all in, if I was to do it again it would be 15mm up front and 20mm out back. They looked great but they still didn't fill the arches as much as I would have liked after my spacers and I was feeling a change so sold em.

The splitter is standard, same as the one on yours, but its dead straight and bolted up properly and regularly dressed to keep it looking a solid black. Don't scrape too much, depends how you drive I guess. Watch out for the kerbs!

  • Author

yeah thats what I'm feelin at the minute, they aint fillin the arches so thats why am thinkin low and wide with these ultralite deepdish alloys with fat stretched tyres sorta like what gugz has done. yeh the splitters are flimsy as shit lol mine needs boltin up properly. bit gutted tbh where there was a nick in the corner of the roof it was sewn up and glued but now it looks like its got a bit bigger =S dont even want to get into cost on a new one =(
