Arr damn that sucks! Mines 80mm down at the rear (phil J kit on lowest setting) An the fronts are meant to be 80 aswell, but I'll be cutting a coil out and sticking some lowering top caps on to get it down so it's level with the rear when I can be arsed to do it.

I thought that was just the normal size of wiper on a mk3? haha dunno, was on there when I bought it so I'm guessing it's original.

I've shown the bodyshop these pictures and basically as long as i have my wheels they going to make arches to cover it for me as well as a respray and all prep (dent pulling/rust) so will look cool

13" revolution 4 Spokes - 8J on the rear and 7.5J up front, with a 90/80 - Then adding some lowering top caps, and if still not low enough a coil off each :)

That'll be an absoloute beaut! Revo 4 spokes are luuuush... If only I could afford a set haha. Yeah.. from my experience you'll need to cut the springs in half to be anywhere near slammed on the front haha.

Was looking good at the show dude. Get the rears up a notch and the nose as down as low as poss and she will look spot on!! And some of those wheel centres

Cheeers dude! Haha yeah I was up working till about 3/4 am a few nights before poloshow.

Future plans... either ABD/GT or AFH (1.4 16v) conversion.. would run it with bike carbs just to make things easier. Looking for somewhere between 100 - 120bhp. Just waiting for my next years no claims to come through really! :)

Surprisingly I have no issues with that, haven't notched the inner wings at all. It's fairly close but never hit!

Cheers man :) Ooh, could be tricky if they're ET0. Not 100% what the offset is on them, though the chap I bought them off thought they were roughly ET10 or slightly lower. They're mk1 polo/golf steels originally ET45 with a 2.5 inch band, but I got no idea how to work out the offset accurately.

Yeah I was quite scared about attacking the arches but you gotta do what you gotta do! I did get halfway through when they were all roughly banged out and had the paint stripped off them, looked a mess; an I just thought why on earth did i do this just to get a set of wheels to fit haha. Glad I did now though! :-D

Oh btw if youre at edition 38 we could stick one of your classics on the rear of my car if you wanted to see how it would fit?

By my calculations I think your wheels are ET13 now.
