as title says......i wanna go as low as possible as cheap as possible and while I'm there stiffen the suspension up if i can, its rarther bouncy n wobbly at the moment.

its currently on some random lowering springs that seem bit crap really ride wise,

there are no cheap coilovers for a mk3. you'l be looking at £500+ . they are a daft design . proper matched spring and shock combo will be best

i wondered why i was having difficulty finding some.......I've very little exsperience of springs or shocks so.......who's are know to be decent ? or stiff at least and who provides a big enough drop :)

theres some advertised here for sale by jackson tuning! he has his own section with both shocks/spring kits high and low end of the market and whatever coilies you could want for your mk1-3 polo (86/86c chassis)

like said above. the polo is a unique design. not your usual strut configuration . thats why the price is high

Go for philj - my mk3 is pretty low, and certainly stiff They arent too expensive, and ride quality obviously isnt what youre after.....

get some 13x7 up front and 13x8s or something and go down 90mm upfront!!!

sounds mega low but its the lowest you can go without having to do some serious chassis work

id there were cheap ones, we would have told you, but theres not.

either bite the bullet and pay for some polo coilies, or just get cheap shocks and springs.

tbh id rather go for a decent shocks/springs kit (hnr) + a subframe conversion, rather than coilies as you would still end up retaining the standard arb setup instead of having adjustable wishbones

get your money out my kw's were 1k or get springs and shocks bought or if your into it get your grinder out

yep iv got the exact setup and there 5 star for the money

its £450 for the set up and cames with new hub bearings and top mounts on the front

I've heard i myth of using golf coilovers (dont know which ones) grinding off the bolt on part and welding it in place. I'm not shure if it o would work cuz of the radius and size differnce but if you can weld its a good idea (if they fit) :)

Quick question what size lowering springs and dampers are you running? And is the drive that bad or fairly bareable
