Playing with the idea of removing my front wipers for this summer....to do or not to do? if I do I'll be using alot of rain-x no doubt....

is it just one nut per wiper? un-do & slide off?

if so, i cant see any harm in keeping the correct size socket & the wipers in the boot, so if it pisses down or if rain is expected for the week jsut quickly bolt it on, take like 5 mins surely?

if you did that you would be left with the parts of the mech that the wipers goes on to sticking out and would just look like you had taken your wipers off and forgot to refit them. it would be like removing your side strips and just leaving the holes and not doing any thing with them imo.

it does look good in the pics tho but leaving the washer jets on kinda defeats the object of removing the wipers in the first place surely? besides what's the point in it looking good if it then pisses it down or some thing splashes up the window screen and you clip another car because you couldn't see where you were driving properly?

Sure its just a lot more practical and easy to have wipers.

When a sudden down pour comes down do you really want to have to pull over, get out in the rain, put your wipers back on and then drive on or do you just want to be able to keep going at the flick of a switch. Even if you did keep them in your boot it would be a bad idea. What happens if something smears across your screen? How will you clean it up? What happens if it starts raining really heavy and there isn't anywhere safe to pull over?

I think number one on that list is removing (or just moving) your plate when you haven't had the recess filled in

all this talk of rainx like its going to make any water that touches it burst in to flames as if god himself had blown on it... i've used rainx with wipers and its not all that

yes it does keep your screen clean, and yes it does disperse water better than just your screen, but if you think you could drive in heavy rain with nothing but rainx to help you see then your a retard tbh
