Just wondering if there is much of a performance difference? Anybody run either and got any comments that would be of help? :-D

Not on a VW, I use cross drilled and grooved disks with Green stuff pads on the front of my Scooby with standard disks and green stuff pads in the rear. Love them wont use anything else.

Also use cross drilled and grooved disks on the front of my G40 race car but with Yellow stuff pads.

Got grooved vented disks on my mini with Green Stuff pads,the difference between them and standard disks and pads is amazing although the grooved disks chew pads.

I got EBC discs and green stuff pads on my golf, but I done a rear disc conversion at the same time, what a difference!

I had brembo max & greenstuff pads on my 16v, was a good setup too the abuse well with also had 5.1 brake fluid so there was no fade at all.

yeah, grooved discs have a habit of doing that. And i'm not sure the grooves really offer too much cooling. Drilled and vented should be sufficient for all but the harshest of abuse!
