I'm sure a lot of you guys and girls will be aware of what Ace Cafe is. Very famous for its motor bikes but has got a reputation for cars aswell, and is also known to have 5th gear filmed there. Its located on the North circular near Wembly in what I think is north west london. Not too far from the all famous IKEA lol. Anyway they are having their monthly VAG meet on tuesday 28th. Is a good turnout, lots of cars, not too many polos though.

Is anyone going to make their way there? any G40s going?

Nice one, Are you coming down in the lupo?? My friend should be coming down in his Supercharged 1.6 gti. Its quite nice. The eaton sounds really cool. I want to come in my G if its ready :(. We might do a little convoy depending on who is coming and we normally meet at the Chiswick roundabout esso petrol station, I assume you go through there to get there from hayes, Troopa? If we are your more thatn welcome to join us.

hes near ace, only does mine and my cousins beemer in terms of MODS, he doesnt really like doing it but he will for us as hes a good family friend.

Yeah i'll be coming down in the Loop dude. I go straight down the A40 near my area which takes me to Ace Cafe so i don't go near Chiswick matey. Your friend with the supercharged Lupo, is it the black one? Forum name 'Casper GTI' by any chance? Charged Loop's are crazy!

babz, yeah that definatly looks like a good job. Its always well handy to have someone around that is good with things like that because its so expensive to get it done. Especially if they do a good job. I bet your cousin spent a few pennies on that beemer.

nice one, ow yeah ofcourse you go straight down the A40, well will probably just see you down there mate. Yeah thats him with the Black gti and that is his username, are you on the clublupo if thats what its called aswell? we went down to ace like last weekend when it was retro rides or whatever its called and he was having some overheating probs because of the charger sitting next to the manifold (that is on the way to being sorted though) but other then that it looks nice and sounds the nuts. He has put in a lot of hours and good money into it. So, I hope he will brings it on tuesday. Do you know him?

Yup that's correct! Would like the car to be sold & gone end of March when i get the new one along. I love it to bits but insurance is looking good for something different so it has to be done. Gonna miss it bad though :(

What are you looking to get in stead of the lupo mate? Yeah it is pretty cool. Really good and quite professional job for someone that isnt in the trade. I have been told that his topic has has an insame number of 'views' on the forum. Yeah hopefully he will be down so you can have a snoop around. When you go up to it hover your hand over the charger and say 'thats quite warm isnt it?' that will excite him lol, we love winding him up about it coz it gets so hot and makes the engine stall! Hes waiting for the water jacket to be made to go over the top to keep it cool but until then we winde him up.

Well I dont drive anything of my own at the moment. I drive my mums Corolla when she isnt at work, but this is only while I finish my G40 project. It was once a GT but I have thrown a G40 lump in it. So I will hopefully be driving a G40 soon. I actually have it running very briefly today, and am hoping I might possibly have it MOTd for the ace cafe, but cant be sure. Things always crop up that makes the process longer. Otherwise ill just be coming down for a walk about. The Ace Cafe site says 18:00-23:00. But i don't think people get there till 19:30 though as 18:00 is quite early lol. Does get very busy though!!

yeah if you want a spot in the car park youll want to be there quite early. But other then that I probably wont be there until around 8 as my car wont be ready :(
