Hi well what it is,i have polo mk3 with gt engine and ecu and i think (chiped) not long had the car :-)

and tbf i dont think the engine has been set up right as it bangs,and splutters!

iv been told a remap will sort this out true or not true ?

Have you looked in the ECU??

I have a folder with the car and i was just lookin though last night and theres peace of paper,saying ecu chip fitted ect rev to 8k :-D

so as you do i went out side to check as i hadnt took it that far yet and it sure dose go off the rev counter :-)

its got a poloace 8k chip in then

the issues might not be iwth the chip..

it could be the timing thats out!?

the chip works wonders if the car is set up right
