Hi guys i have a 2001 polo GTI

I'm looking to remove the standard radio and storage compartment and replacing it with a double din unit with sat nav. Can anybody tell me weather i need one from a mk4 golf or would a mk5 golf double din unit fit. I know the connecters on the back are different but i will repin them its not a problem, just need to know size wise what would fit. Has to be a VW unit though not aftermarket. I want to be different and fit one from a mk5 just need to know it will go in the hole before i buy one.

not to keen on the mk4 ones the look very old, and i dont want to start modifying my dash to fit a mk5 one in, might just leave it or go aftermarket then.
