will i have to sit there and wait for it to charge tho cos i wouldnt want it nicked or anything ? will it be safe to leave there for a night or something ?

lol, unless you've got a commando socket phone charger, get an in car one.

You can get them for smart phones.

hmmm i do need one . i will try getting one but then theres the problem of not having a car to charge it in lol

we have a power adaptor lead to go from the commando socket to normal socket, so can plug it in there.

people will be in the marquee all evening and around all day to keep an eye on it, and it wont take all night to charge will it? i'd like to think that everyone will be trustworthy but there is always the chance someone isn't, so just put it on for a couple of hours and keep an eye on it.

Have they got power outputs by the tents? that you pay extra for?

why not pay £10 for a car charger ?

It'll be fine..... I need a new phone 8-)

Get yourself a car charger, or just buy a cheap nokia, mine'll do the best part of a week without a charge.

Get a spare battery from eBay and job's a goodun. Or alternatively get an in car charger!

just turn your phone off. you wont need it really.. unless theres some kind of emergency on your way there/back. but if its off the whole weekend it will have battery for the journey back :-D

You can have a leccy hook up. they asked me if i wanted it when i booked today

Extra £6 for the weekend

You just need the adaptor (bout £7 from argos) and extension cable

Surely your phone will last 2 days?

iphones hardley last a day

what a stupid thread

Just go to the pub, find a socket and have a pint while it charges.

Do without a phone:

Beer - check

Cars - check

Money - check

Nothing else your gonna need  The girlfriend can chat to you when the weekends over - well mine can at least  If my phone dies shell ring my mates phone, however my phone can last 2 days

There's a payphone in the pub!

Hmmm might pass on bringing the laptop, just need a phone charger is all, and i dont think my Cigi Lighter works :s
