how much did it cost you matey?? as I'm thinking of doing it, but dont know whether to leave it till I've got funds for a pro to do it or have a go myself, done worse jobs than this so thought it wouldnt do any harm.

Looking very nice!

If you want to have a go yourself I would suggest picking up a spare bumper from the scrappy and generally having a play with mesh, fibreglass and alike.

With a little practice you get used to the stuff, I myself learnt how to use it through making props such as armour for a later molding process. Once you know how to use it then you can do a lot more with it then you first think :-)

the rubber strips off the bumpers arent there any more, its done alot on show cars but I've never seen any one with it in real life

It looks odd with the plate there and without a GTI splitter, but I'm sure when you sort those issues out it will look sweet.

200 for the front bumper or the rear aswel?

It's usually about 175 - 200 per bumper

bumper inserts missing.... took me a minute to work it out as well!

Standard:

I'm on 75k :( only 75k more till 1.8t engine ;)

£200 for them two bumpers is peanuts tbh

Show cars are real life cars lol.

Not many people have Polo show cars and other dailys. There's only a couple of people I know that do that, and that's Ash and his 300bhp 6N, and Dan with his silver mk3 G40!

To be honest, there aren't that many 6N2's about which have smoothed bumpers, so chances of you seeing one on your daily drive to work are slim. There's probably what, about 20 6N2's on this site with smoothed bumpers?

Solenoid kit wired to a button on your dash or your rear wiper switch.

but how many people leave the front strip and smooth the number plate reccesss out :p

P.s. you could wire it to a Cillford which is have done

I know about 4 people who have done that, but not on this site, it also includes edition

I'm gonna wire mine to a Toad because I have heard bad things about Clifford.

Didn't your boot popper pack in?

yeah i dont think anyone on this site has, i did mine last year semptember people on edition are doing it recently, but there are people who did it before me

yep packed in, but i have a switch in side the car and also a wire to pull the boot open, which bodyshop did for me.

Needs some new number plates!
