2-300 per bumper is the going rate, depending on how much you want doing.

Needs some new number plates!

aye he fucked them when he took them off, going to go in on the group by for legal presseds tho

the rubber strips off the bumpers arent there any more, its done alot on show cars but I've never seen any one with it in real life

Mouse GTi's car has had that done to his front bumper for ages

mate. One of my mates did it for him and only took £60 iirc...

Looks good though... :nod::thumbsup:

well for £200 i got mirrors, bumpers and a dent taken out above the arch, well cheap and well good finish, making me well chuffed :D

For that work...thats a good price mate and looks a good job too.

All that for 200 quid, thats fuckin amazing. Should've been about 500 more atleast!

they need flatting and buffing

if theyer jammed up and filled over theyll crack easy

if anyone wanted e doign proply plastic weld them

i usually chage about 250 for rubstrips removed, plasted welded and skimmed up, painted, buffed

Not many people have Polo show cars and other dailys. There's only a couple of people I know that do that, and that's Ash and his 300bhp 6N, and Dan with his silver mk3 G40!

*Cough* I drive a mk6 golf daily *Cough*

Has he really put screws in, or does it just look like that because of the rust and wear round the screw holes?

Please tell me the plate has been stuck on and not screwed on, because the plate looks shit there and it will need moving down to the grills.

If the bodyshop guys done that, get him to re-do it!

people like Ash and Dan need dailys look at thier cars,

how come you dont drive yours panda? company car?

I will alaways drive mine everyday, to make it more practicle might air it :)

I'm awya to give her a good wash and polish

so ill take the plates off and find out

idk

Don't get the boot smoothed, the rear end looks top class with the bumpers done and the extra badges gone  Really good looking result

Personally I think mk5s looks best as standard. The fronts always look weird without the rub strips and the number plate on them. If your gonna smooth the bumper, might as well bin the plate altogether

any one know how to attacth my plate to the lower grill????????/

thanks

Drillholes + Cable ties

  • Author

struggeling to get them behind the grill and back out agian, any advice?

Longer cable ties... :paranoid:

get those plates changed asap as they let the whole car down mate. but that looks really nice. :)

Kuszpit :)

Bend the cable ties every 1cm about 6 times until the tapered end curles around almost like a circle, they hold their shape when forcefully bent so you can easily see the end poking through and grab it
