Sueprcharged Ibiza Gti NEW LOWER PRICE

Featured Replies

righto, this is not a feeler this time, so many people have commented on how much "bad luck" i've had with this car, and it's now the time where i need something reliable and cheaper to maintain (i'm only 21 and in a supermarket ), i've got my eyes on something already so would like this gone asap :)

Spec:

1996 Seat Ibiza GTi 1.8 16v (ADL engine)

Tax till september 30th

MOT till April 2010

Engine

1.8 16v ADL lump (130bhp standard)

Eaton M45 S-Works Supercharger with 19% pulley

Megasquirt v3.0 ECU - with base map on it at the moment

Audi TT inlet manifold welded to KR lower half

Universal medium Intercooler

£500 worth of SFS hosing

Running 2 TT dump valves, both dumping to atmosphere

Bosch 440cc Green top injectors (to be fitted) currently Volvo 230cc injectors fitted

G60 Jabbasport Induction Kit, it's HUGE

8v 020 gearbox (awesome acceleration)

Lightened Flywheel

TSR 4 Branch Exhaust Manifold, with Decat pipe made

Longlife Stainless Exhaust system with oval tailpipe - may i add it sounds like a rally car and is VERY loud, many people on here will back this up

Hockey Puck Solid Front Engine Mount, works a treat

Interior

350mm Leather Steering Wheel (with camo) or with a Sparco 350mm red alcantara wheel

Corbeau Carrera Reclining Sports seats - VERY comfy

Stripped out rear with camo false floor

Battery Relocated to the boot, in custom battery cage aswell

Fire Extinguisher (not used so far  )

Alpine Headunit

Pioneer 6.5" component speakers

Camo Trimmed A and B pillars

double Gauge pod

Boost Gauge

Oil Pressure Gauge

TRS 3 point harnesses (1 fitted but will supply other), or can fit OEM seatbelts

Sparco Harness pads

Chassis

TA Technix Coilies, never done me wrong so far, been on the car 2 years

VR6 brake upgrade, with Brembo 280mm disc, ferodo pads, loads of life left

OMP front upper, front lower, rear upper strut brace, made a MASSIVE difference to the handling

Front wheels: 16x7 Compomotive MO5's (et35) with 205/45/16s (scrub on full lock)

Rear Wheels: 16x7.5 Compomotive MO5's (et27) with 205/45/16s (scrub on big bumps)

Exterior

Bumper cut to show off intercooler

Debadged apart from "Cupra" badge and mini cooper "S" badge

can supply spare bonnet (black)

Aero Wipers

Other Points:

Mileage is 118300

has a small service history

the mapping does need finishing off, it's boosting at 7-8psi at the moment, once the mappings been finished then it really will go, i can hook you up with the person that did the mapping and megasquirt installation if needed. It's still really REALLY quick, and loud, it's very much the experience of driving in this, you get looked at where ever you go, sometimes with disgust

both driveshafts have been changed with new wheel bearings and hubs less than 2k ago

the gearbox has been reconditioned, no crunches or funny noises at all

the clutch has just been changed

new leads and plugs

the bodywork is not mint, there are stone chips all over the car, theres a small dent on the offside (drivers) wing, but apart from that every panel is straight and true :), the colour is amazing in the sunlight, really pops when cleaned properly, its pearlescent aswell, the colour is Purpura Iris (code: S4N)

there is only 1 other charged ibiza that i know of, and i haven't seen that for a year or so.

The oil light and buzzer are going off at the moment, had it checked by nando, and it's got the right oil pressure and temperature, so i bought the oil pressure gauge to keep an eye on it. It's just intensely annoying at the moment

it has not been rolling roaded, i didnt want to do it until the mapping was finished etc, to get a proper result

had a new sump 1 month ago, and new oil in gearbox and engine

if there is anything else i'll add it to the advert :)

this is advertised on Edition38, and SCN.net

i love this car, it draws crowds at shows (noise brings crowds), and always puts a smile on my face, but it's costing me too much, and in the hunt for jobs etc i need a reliable car, i'd like to start over again in all honesty with a mk2 golf or mk3. One day i may do another eaton'd car :), i will return to the life of boost, the e-smiles are definitely in to stay though.

no timewasters or tyre kickers please

£2500 or maybe a swap, VR6 of some form, Mk3 golf, Mk2 golf, Corrado, needs to be on coilies at least :)

car is located in Camberley, Surrey

pm me on here, or text 07826 501129 and i'll get back to you ASAP

Cheers

Chris

i'd like to add that £2k is a bargain, the engine is worth £2k at least to be honest and the rimz and seats etc

Bump with lower price, electrical problem causing the alternator to heat up and that's what is cooking the belts, the charger is fine, but the car is running off boost at the moment

will consider swap for jap aswell

i really dont want to lower the price, has a massive box of spares with it aswell, this is a genuinely 1-off car so someone is getting a bargain, even with the small issues

plenty of offers, but nothing done yet
