hey just told my insurance I'm going to lower my Polo and they sent me a engineers report to get filled in..

Anyone know who can do this?

he said coz they dont do mots at there performance garage they carnt stamp it

it'll just be a written document that the insurance has seen to say the car is modified safely. That a accident isnt going to happen cos of the mods you fitted

so a garage just checks over whats bin changed...

a garage should have a checklist of stuff they check for before a car goes out..like a PDI at a main dealer

To be fair, when renewal comes around your daft for not ringing around and doing a few price comparisons to check for better prices even if your not changing anything on your car.

Trust me, you can get it cheaper if you lower or not if you call around.

so gotta take it back with standards on and itl cos me £25 to do the test and £100 for insurance
