Since car has been lowered I am detouring to avoid speenhumps. Lowest part of chassis is around 3" these are the front wishbones and not sure it will clear. Anyone have trouble gettin over these, its the black rubbery ones I`m thinkin of.

3" off the ground, you should rarely touch.

When I attempt to go over speed bumps I just go proper slow and attack it at an angle lol. Thinkin bout it I normally go bout 45 degrees haven't had too much trouble just scrumb the front spoiler occasionally.

go over with your wheels over the top if its the ones thats like a lump in the road that dont go all way across, if its the ones tht go all way across go really slow at an angle or get your left wheels on the kurb

Just seem to think the sills will catch for some reason................Guess will just have to try it.

The ones I mean are where there are usually 2 or 3 next to each other.

If your wishbones are 3" from ground then your sills wont catch :)

look at my sills u can see when the paint has come off from scrapping

slow down to 5mph to piss the person behind off, then go over a pair with a wheel on each

am i the only person who used to carry wood planks incase their was a speed bump to get out , and word of watning merry hill near dudly had rectangular 2.5 inch high speed bumps on the makies

you'd look an idiot if you were stood there building your little ramp everytime you wanted to get over a bump, and imagine the time it'd take!

Yer and tbf your wishbones are less than 3 inches Youve never caught the sills as far as i know, and only catch occasionally

3" off the deck is 4x4 spec still. Speed bumps shouldn't be a problem.

You can get a lowered car no matter how low over anything with just a little bit of thought. Take your time, assess the bump. Look for the shallowest route and take it over 1 wheel at a tme. You won't catch anything important as the sump and that will be lifted by the wheels going up if your taking your time. You may catch the subframe or the exhaust or even the sills but nothing too important that will immobilise you.

Doesn't mean a thing, because you could have huge wheels which make your car higher, or your coilovers may not lower as far as other brands.

Worst are speed bumps that you have to take straight on.

There's one of those black and yellow rubber ones that runs right across the entrance to the uni car park and the entrance isn't wide enough to go in at an angle, you have to go in straight, and the edges of them are raised, the middle is the lowest point, so both wheels have to hit at once!
