I'm Not Feeling My Lights :(.

Featured Replies

all of today i spent my time spraying up my lights, waiting for them to dry, the newspaper got blown onto one of them so i had to remove all the paint and do it again

and I've never seen so many flies, KEPT landing on the lights, making the finish absolutely awful.

my grille and inner light are PROPERLY bodged all, all of the nuts/bolts were knackered =\.

i really like No grille and the 2 yellow lights, i think it looks amazing, but because my inner light doesn't work, it makes it look crap. i would get a single head-light grille but A. no money and B. i like my cold-air feed (I KNOW IT DOES NOTHING).

the wiring on the back of the lights are all messed up, i dont have side lights, i just have dipped and mainbeam, in which dipped only works on one light.

i don't know what to do.

i'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking.

Someone suggested black mesh across rather than the grille.

but surely the grille's there for a reason.

they look VERY yellow i'd be suprised if you could see more than 1 foot in front of you

each to there own.

Jesus, i was sure it was a bad photoshop until i saw the other pics. I wouldn't have put so much on... :?

fuck me did you use the hammerite paint that some one suggested in your other thread?

i think they were meant to look like this

OMG mate, you put wayyy to much on! only need like two light coats for the desired effect. How much is left in the can?

mate try googling wilco direct and look at granville amber light paint,it works great and doesnt affect your lights at night i tried it on mine and it works fine heres a pic .023.jpg

Unlucky pal, it's all experience.

And in my opinion the cold air feed looks crap, doesn't tie in with the feel of the car, regardless of whether it does anything.

ha ha hammerite

these cant be road legal?! i think they look pretty cool as they go with the color of the car but if this is a daily you cant drive at night any more dude! the cold air feed doesnt really work with the feel of your car as its got old school vibe about it not so much motorsport fair enough if there was 30000 ponnies fighting to get out of your bonnet.

Could look cool if you just strip em and do one thin coat, then get a single headlamp grille. Not the greatest fan of yellow headlights though..

Lots of coats of hammerite FTL dude  Would look cool if you had done a couple of light coats of actualy tinting spray :)

i think it just looks a mish mash at the front....should save your pennies for suspension nt silly yellow hammerite.lol.and get the tear drops on...

just my opinion.

what the fuck

hahahaha

screw those guys dude.. i like it.

sure, maybe it's slightly illegal.. but merely tinting the headlights just makes them look gammy and frosted like what happens to all Mk2 Clio headlights.

they look like fog spotlights they chuck on road rally cars lol, and maybe they wont be so bad in the dark after-all.. just don't go try them down any lanes without street lights lol!

I guarantee they will be shite in the dark! My lights are absolutely crap and they arent half as dark

And they are majorly illegal

i reaconise hat bumper from somewhere ;)

LMAO someones gonna wonder what the fucks coming towards them when you drive with those on

looks like you've replaced your lights with yellow smarties or something. you should paint some m and m logos onto the middle of them to finish them off.

thanks for giving me a chuckle though!

Too much dude...

but if all else fails, atleast you know you have learnt something... :)

Next time!
