my test is in september in which I'm hoping to pass obviously.

just doing a few comparison websites, and to insure me, on my mums insurance on my 1043cc 1989 mk2 polo its costin 1.6k on 3rd party F+T and 1.6k on fully comp?

for my mum alone it costs a meer 104 quid.

why is it so expensive, my friend has a 1.4 6n on coils which have been declared which cost him 700 quid a year?

i don't get it.....

Mine was just over 300 quid for a mkII bready on my mums bout 7 years ago, eventually dropped to little over 150.

Try the co-op, they can be competive. And if you can, i'd drop the fire and theft and go third party only (i didnt even think anyone did F+T anymore). Tbh, no-ones going to steal it are they! haha! Plus the money back for it wont be worth the extra for insurance, same goes for fully comp. Mines valued at 200 quid, so i'm not going to pay more than that for insurance!

and that was after ringing around and telling a few white lies :)

ring up the insurers and haggle say some other companies quoted you cheaper
