1978 satin black unfinshed, but 99.8% complete bug........staffs area

Featured Replies

1978 (i double checked on the log book) bug, satin black done with rustoleum, just needs wet flatting and then another coat or two to make it nice and smooth :) Drilled for bus wheels and thus has 14" camper wheels on it. All welding done as far as i can tell, headlights and front indicators need wiring up, as does the fuel sender, horn push is missing, glovebox catch is missing........earlier rear wings and tombstone rear lights, new red wingbeading, new decklid seal, new bonnet seal, new door seals just fitted, brand new battery, new brake lines and pipes......new front tyres just fitted too.........desmo roofrack, decklid standoffs etc.........

bad points are, pan seal needs replacing (i have one, its just not fitted), little to no carpets for the interior, the seats will want recovering, drivers side headlamp has a small hole in it, accelerator pedal is not fitted (tab needs welding on to the floor again), choke needs setting up, one of the sway away adjuster bolts has sheared off (but the bit of the bolt that 'works' is in there still , you just cant adjust it), drivers side door drops a bit (worn hinge pins), and neither of the doors are wonderfull along the bottoms (they arent shagged, but the arent great either), and as i said the interior needs a good going over......

Basically i dont have the time to finish it, even though its annoyingly close to being mot ready.

Looking for 800 (no offers), bearing in mind you could have it on the road in a week.

Cheers for looking guys.

Staffordshire area.
