Original Sale of Reciept from Forge Garage in Dyfed.

It was bought for list price 4,370 pounds, which equated to an on the road price of £5,688.48.

It was bought in part exchange with a Peugeot 504 JFF 105P which was only 5 years old at the time, and covered just shy of 50k.

It has now had 6 former keepers, with myself as the 7th. I have owned it since February.

It is currently on 138k.

Bad Points

Needs some welding - full outer sill, rear lower valance and drivers rear quarter panels are to be provided by myself included in the sale. all else that is needed is a front lower valance and your sorted

Clutch is slipping due to a leaking crankshaft oil seal, easy job to do once the gearbox is off. Car is still very quick of the mark and evil through the gears which you can nail through with the quick shift, the dunlops have been providing insane amounts of grip when they are warmed up and I've been embarrasing a few cars this week haha

sunroof leaks slightly

scrubs when lowered to the perfect ride height with the borbets on, is an absolute weapon on the castalettes, becomes two different cars, i definatly prefer it with "proper" fitting wheels and some choice tyres any day now.

The car has a full 12 months mot as of last week, and will have 6 months tax as of saturday.

i have just 1 question how in hell does it have 12 months mot if it needs a new sill!!!!!

Nice rare car here, don't see many small light mk1's about, especially in gti form

it doesnt "need" a new sill, there is a very small hole in the metalwork just by the rear arch, this would be covered by a complete sill panel, or you could just patch up the hole to save repairing the whole sill.

The sills were fully replaced, welded and sprayed to a high standard back in 1995 but a small hole has appeared, as i have a full sill repair panel it would make sense for the welder just to stick complete fresh metal on rather than just repair the one tiny bit]

it was an advisory on the mot =]
