hey I've recently put some steffans on and my camber on the front has gone mental lol

It was bad when i had standards on from lowering but now its worse.

Anything i can do has its eating my tyres and I've had them a week and half and the inside are getting bald..

Hi mate

You can adjust it a certain amount by yourself, loosen off the two lower strut to swivel hub bolts, then pull the strut towards you and try and align it by eye. It wont be perfect but it worked for me and i almost got mine spot on. To get it perfect you will have to go to a garage/carriage works that have camber gauges. Hope this helps

yeh my sisters bf did that on one side but it didnt help that much

Might do it on other then get it at a garage to do everything :S

TBH, its as likely to be the tracking too. Get that sorted

camber does kill tyres! if you've got loads of positive or negative camber then it'll wear the outside or inside edge of the tyre respectively.

inside is wearing pratically bald in a week and half..

i used to go through budget tyres all every 3 weeks on my stanards and they was worst..

at £40+ a corner for tyres on a student budget i carnt rate afford :(

jesus, tracking and/or camber must be MILES out if you are getting through tyres in 3 weeks unless you are doing several thousand miles a week.

seriously mate they was rubbing on my innerwalls at 1st i stoped that that helped but still shite

Fucking student moneys shit But i wouldnt want to be paying if i earnt loads coz its a ball ache gerring it done

excessive camber wears the inner/outer edge of the tyre at the normal rate,

its incorrect toe settings that cause accelerated wear.

and just to note ANY change in ride height affects the camber and toe settings,

therefore if you are going to be yo-yo ing your ride height be prepared to pay for wheel alignment each time its changed.

It will help. But if you have a large amount of camber, and dont get it sorted, then you will probs still get extra wear. And as mentioned, get you toe in/out checked too!

TBH though, it sounds like your whole geometry is well out. Take it too a garage, as them nicely to sort EVERYTHING and just pay the bill!

Yea longer you wait the more tyre wear you'll have and more money you'll have to shell out on tyres.

Best to get it set up at a height with wheels etc ready to rock then get it set up and dont touch them will be all good then

am running 1.5 deg of negative camber at the front on mine...Not worn the tyres down unevenly one bit.
