Right then guys, here for sale is a 1997 VW Polo CL (the one with all the electrics) 1.4 Petrol. Perfect first car for a new driver, or for any dub enthusiast.

I bought it in May 2008, it had already been lowered 60mm, had a Powerflow exhaust, and a debadged front grill.

After the purchase it went straight into the garage for a new cambelt (just in case) water pump, water and oil filters, oil change, and a full service (fluids, electrics, brakes etc.) costing £352.

The car currently sits on BBS RAs (standard wheels from a Golf MK2 GTI) with Falken 195/45/14 low profile tyres on, of which I have replaced two last month, the other two are still good.

The gearbox was replaced in August last year at the cost of £619.15, with no problems since and the electric window repaired at £131.95 was done last summer.

It has also had new exhaust rubbers all round last month (£58.13) and a new coilpack, and the throttle body cleaned at £143.98.

No expense has been spared to keep this car running as smoothly and efficiently as possible, and I have receipts totalling around £1800, including proof of the professionally installed stereo and sub and amp wiring.

Mileage - 77k (low for its age)

8 months MOT

2 months tax

TOAD Cat 1 alarm with anti hijack, and immobiliser

Debadged front grill

BBS RA 14s, with Falken 195/45/14 tyres (and dice dustcaps)

Professionally installed amp and sub wiring (receipt for £110)

Pioneer headunit, with aux input for MP3/iPod (also professionally installed)

All red rear lights (euro style)

Clear front indicators

Clear side repeaters

It is a real shame to see this car go, but I have just purchased a Golf MK1 GTI as my new toy, and am also going to university in October (my dad won't let me keep both when I'm only home 12 weeks a year!)
