Sell the polo?

Featured Replies

Basically I bought the polo this time last year and now I am getting fed up with all thats happend to it. All iv had is bad luck with it. I payed £3500 for it last year and pumped at least £500 into it mechanically. I doubt I'm going to get anywhere near that back selling it on here but I have had a few local kids come upto me thinking its cool because it hasnt got a number plate on the front basically and its low. One of them even knocked on my door a few weeks ago and said he would be willing to pay a bit over 3 grand for it and I said I would get in touch with him when my insurance is up. So basically is it right for me to sell it to a little kid for much more than its worth??

Of course it's right to sell it for more than it's worth. If someone is willing to pay crazy money, well let them pay it.

As long as its safe mechanically I wouldn't be bothered. its if there's a major problem and your shifting it, thats not really good.

look out for number one, if he's offering that then he must think its worth it so snap his hand off

Mechanically it needs a seal changed on the gearbox and sump, which would of been done if garages didnt let me down but obviously I would point it out or get it fixed

SELL IT!

sell it!

i got stitched up with a skyline, ended up spending 3k keeping it on the road in 6months!!!

finally got it running right but because id lost the confidence in it i sold it

Yeah id also say sell it. I'm the first to point and laugh when i see overpriced adverts on here and autotrader etc but if someones willing and wants to offer that much, then take as much as you can

Its only a tin can trolley with a pedal-type internal combustion pump screwed to the front of it - but i also believe you need a kinda love for your car.

If you aint got that,i think you should let it go to someone who may do.

id sell it. i have lads round by me wanting mine. i would sell it for silly money. but i love it to much to sell and i dont want to see it upside down or it lookin ugly after all the tmie and effort i pt into it, but if the lad wants it then id sel it.

a car is worth what whatever someone is willing to pay for it

just as long as you won't regret the sale afterwards..

Sell it! I can't wait to get rid of mine, but I said I'd finish it first!
