LOTUS Elans 15x6.5J - Bit different from the norm

Featured Replies

I need to get rid of my £1200 overdraft by the time the new Uni term starts so these have to make way!

I planned to polish these up ready for this summers show season but I fell out of love with them and times got the better of me.

They are

15x6.5J

Unforunatly not blessed with low offsets, they are ET56 (Will double check)

4X100

57.1mm bore

The condition of them at the moment are as follows;

1st Wheel

Up to 2000 grit (and had about an hours worth of attention with polishing mop)

2nd Wheel

Up to 800 grit and had the bolt holes have had a layer of primer

3rd Wheel

Up to 800 grit

4th Wheel

Up to 600 grit

Heres some pics of them at easter

Heres a couple from midway through the polishing

And heres one of them on the dirty polo

I would have liked to finish them myself but I don't really have the time to do so and I'd like to pass them on to an fellow enthusiast,

Price wise I'm after £195 ovvno - for the right price I'll chuck in the Grits and Polishing kit (inc. full bottle of Alu Belgom and tube of Autosol)

I saw a set of these painted black go for £450 on this forum so I think thats a pretty fair price

Pick up from Wigan please :)

If your interested give us a PM

Cheers

Johnny

BUMP

Make me an offer in the region of £160 and these are yours

Great straight wheels with loads of potential just need a little bit of Time spent on them something I dont have as I'm moving back to uni at the end of the week!

Text/call/pm whatever

Cheers

Johnny

is the ET definately up at 56? under 40 and i'll be very interested...

yea mate its a high one unforunatly, I know on the 6n they need 25mm spacers all round to get them down to a sensible stancier offset and make them so they dont scrub at the front.

25mm spacers bring them down to the exact same spec as renault turbines

ah shit, oh well... good luck anyway. They're awesome

Would hubcentric bolt to hub style spacers not be fine to increase the offset???

I really like them but useless if the offset is too low!

Yes mate, hubcentric spacers are what you need and work fine, I did have some but I sold them to a friend a couple of months ago
