What day did you guys go?!

There was well over 100 cars there sunday, weather was scorching, superb venue....

shame you had a bad time!

i am gutted i missed this yr....truth be told this isnt like no ordinary show, relatively small club (when compared to other forums like E38 who host shows...and for all VAG ranges) and its all about the people, for me you get out of a show what you put in....and i speak for prob the masses!

DONT EXPECT DANCE TENTS STALLS WITH KW'S FINEST TUNING COMPANIES ETC!!!!!!!!

in years gone by, not saying its the same now as i imissed its revisit to billing this yr, but 2006 and esp 2007 were epic events for me! convoys, banter, drink, bbqs and that fairground!

I applaude this show and when i signed up 7 yrs ago i wish it didnt take me so long to actually attend!

i imagine there are a lot who express the ssame feeling whether they attended or not

You should have seen the VR6 OC who had a corner of "our" feild with about a dozen cars, or the MkIV in the next feild with about twice that. We kicked them into the long grass in both quantity and quality.

you probably rocked up, got out, went for a look around and never spoke to anyone.

being shy gets you nowhere. (except fat chicks, they come to you)

Well said chrispy, nail on head son

This show is more like a massive meet, its all about the craic and having a good time, I spent most of last night with the norfolk/suffolk crew (polo.6n.max, sambreadvan and Oily Fingers to name a few) and had a reet laugh!

if I'd spent the night with that, I'd have oily fingers too. :)

I totally agree. The polo show is more like a big meet rather than a show. I was rather impressed with how many people where there today. Weather was good.. Spoke to a load of people and had some fun.

I'm glad its back a Billing its the perfect place for something like this. :)

we turned up at 6.00pm on saturday and left at about 4pm today....had an awsome time!! Had a shit load of fun, met lots of cool people and saw some awsome polo's!!! You should of stayed!

200 mile trip. Stayed about 45 minutes.

Can you imagine what a show it'd be if everyone was as enthusiastic as you?

It's as much about the people as the cars. As Max said, Billing is the perfect location for the show, weather was perfect today as well.

word!!!!!!!!!!!1 i understand its kinda intimdating at first hell fire when i started out cars were few and far between, so it seemed so un easy so awkward to be involved with ones who ran coilovers, alllys fancy painted splitters had body mods etc etc!

and thats just the thing i have learned and why i am able to say you get out what you put in coz its simple truth!!!

its not marginally like that now mk4s are worth nothin in market value, and the whole vw scene has catapulted forward!! JUST GET INVOLVED!!!!!

jon mate, i missed peg o beef!! too much fun had at these shows.....i think people need to find the fundamentals in events like this and just kick back light up (if you dabble) or crack opena beer!

Chrristian

increase your social skills ?

i went, got there about 2 on friday, stayed till 12ish on the sunday, had a good time, but i knew what to expect, its not a show as such, more of a meet. its what you make of it. i personally prefered last year for its atmosphere, but the level of good cars was better this year.

I thought it was good! Although it seemed like the only people having fun was us Norfolk/Suffolk lot in the corner of the field with the red ratty caddy in. As people have said, just gotta crack open some beers and have a walk round an meet people an stuff! Last night was too funny.

when i started out cars were few and far between

How old are you, they were quite common when I was growing up.
