This is my first post on here i was at the vr6oc meet opposite you guys.

tbh we hope you guys are not at billing next year for the reason we had people calling us names and abuse we were kept up all night by loud music. Ours was a family event we had kids there and you guys had no consideration for that or the other people on teh campsite and people doing douhnuts in the field. Why??? Those people that did that ruined it for you guys that were nice and sensible so to you guys thankyou but but we felt like nothing was done about the idiots. Its your club the organisers should have stopped it. We also had things go missing from our gazebo in the night that when we asked for back in the morning as a couple of you were caught red handed with them the reply helen got was why give them back.

We will be complaining to billing that their security didnt sort out the music and asking to either be put away from you or one of the clubs wont be back there next year as it ruined our weekend.

you guys were parked awfully close to polovr6modifiedbreakingforsale who to be honest along with his mates are a bunch of chav twats who decided to ruin it for a fair few people, they were told off by the scottish lot a fair few times.

and btw, afaik, you guys didnt actually pay for use of "our" field? and we were pre-booked a year ago.

so really, you have no right to complain, i apprieciate there are people who are knobheads and ruin it, but to be honest, as a club we cant be expected to being everyones mothers as well can we?

were all adults, if you have a problem with someone tell them so, but dont expect other people to have to address the problem, most things can be sorted out amicably but for some others they just haven't grown up enough to be able to realise the error of thier ways

ps. why you needed that field was beyond me too, as there was a few lost golfs on the other side of the field too =P

we wernt supposed to be in that field and we were also booked a long time ago billing moved us last minute not sure why and not our choice. we would have been quite happy to go with uk mk4s behind.

so we did pay for use of billing

oh and we did tell the nob heads but like i said they have no connsideration so didnt listen

i really cant get over how people can steal from fellow dubbers, its beyond beliefe tbh, very very low..

If your old enoughf to drive surley your old enough to know when you've stepped over the line, a bit of banter is fair enough but as said plenty of times some people need to learn to grow up.

billing are idiots to be honest, they couldnt tell thier head from thier arse.

but aye apologies for the polovr6 boys, they were immature little kids and there mums werent there so they thought they had free reign.

personally if i had been near them i would have just moved elsewhere, i know you have to swallow your pride especially if you have to move cos of some pricks, but at the end of the day if you would have a better time elsewhere then surely its better to move?

on the whole, the show was ace, the majority of the club polo'rs attending were top as usual theres always some bad apples in the bunch, and in all honestly it didnt really bother me having you guys in the field, I'm not a fan of golfs however bar the mk1, so seeing a line of mk3s didnt exactly fill me wiwth passion but always good to see people who love cars

anyway peace and love for the club relations

I'll hold you to that, most people will even offer you a beer and have a good old chin wag, i'de know, i offerd a few out myself.

peace too thanks for the apology i hope they realised how immature they were and how they ruined it for you good guys and us

and some lovely polos there and thanks to the guys that took an interest in our vr6s hopefully next year they will behave.

i doubt they wil behave but I'm sure itll be on peoples agenda to keep them out of the show next year.

AND ALSO A WORD TO EVERYONE, PLEASENT OR NOT. YOUR ALL FILTHY, WE HAD TO CLEAN AN ENTIRE FIELD OF YOUR SHIT, ITS NOT HARD TO PUT YOUR STUFF INTO A BAG AT THE END AND DUMP IT IN THE BIN, WHICH IS WHERE? RIGHT BY THE FUCKIN EXIT.

It was like the BVF Club Stand all over again, thanks to the people who helped clean up the rubbish mods (the ones still there) and all the non-mods. Also thanks to the mods who made the show possible as a fair few of us didnt know if it was going to happen.

Just cmon guys in future be a bit curteous towards your fellow man, the only reason we get a show year after year is because everyone works there asses off behind the scene, and when they get back fuck all in return, I'm surprised they still do it

must be suckers for punishment!

sorry but that was not me in the red 6n so stop getting you wires crossed and you shouldnt have a car show at a place were there is familys and children maybe wen you organise it you should take a leaf out of e38's book or vw festival that is how you organise a show and for all those who say its just a big meat wtf is it called polo show when its clearly not a show!!!

To be fair, even though there were only a few VR6's there, a couple of them still booted it up the path and wheelspun out the gate..

people doing donuts i didnt see this and as there were no rear wheel drive cars there it would be pretty impossible

Why not? Billing has been the perfect venue for the last few years.

Maybe if you joined the club there would be a bigger budget for a better 'show', until then stop moaning!

There were people driving round having a go at doing doughnuts but they did get told to stop it or leave so that was sorted pretty quickly.

Billing is the perfect venue, most of the members love it being there and have no complaints. It's never going to be like edition 38 or any similar show due to budget, but it's always been a great success and is a wicked laugh too where you get to meet loads of new people and see interesting cars. I'm sorry if that's not what you expected, but I'm sure a lot of people would've explained to you if you'd have asked.

Edition 38 also don't accept things like loud music at unreasonable hours or people ripping round in their cars, it's a general politeness and safety thing really.

since when has a car show meant a full on rave? I don't understand this assumption that because you are at a car show it means there's going to be loads of noise and it's ok to cause trouble? The fact is the club cannot afford to pay the thousands and thousands of pounds it costs to put a show like edition 38 on, it'd be great if the club could afford to hire out it's own site and pay the insurance for putting a proper show on but it's impossible. So if not for places like billing then there'd be no polo show. Also everyone was given a leaflet on the way in explaining what our rules were and that it's not on to make loads of noise after 11pm but I doubt anyone actually read it.

There'll be familys and kids camping at Edition mate, there always is a the bigger shows (especially Edition, VWFestival, AllTypes and BVF)

We're not miserable gits, its called common courtesy, you play loud music at 3am/7.30am at the bigger shows and they'll probably come down on you harder as they hire outside security companies to police the site
