were as I'm not moaning but i dont think it was a show it was more of a meet there was nothing to do when you got there (apart from a burger van) when i think show i think demo's some trade stands. i went the the london volks fest last sunday and that was a tenna and there was just so much more to entertain you. although i live in northampton i think i would had been pissed of if i would have traveled from miles away to attened. although the goodie bag was good i dont think it was worth a tenna. sorry to go but i think i few people i spoke to felt the same

a show is only as good as the people who go to it, so if no-one bothers to turn up, you cant expect it to be any good.

i went on saturday and stayed most of the day and from what i could tell, there was no-where near as many cars as the previous billing polo show.

you can hardly complain about the show being naff or what-ever if no-one can be bothered to turn up cos of a bit of rain (and for the record it wasnt that bad, some very light showers but nothing too bad)

personally i had a good time as i got to catch up with a few friends that i only ever see at the poloshow, so the fact that few cars were there didnt bother me at all.

IMO dont winge about the show, winge about the people who couldnt be bothered to go to it

well said to be honest.

i had a laugh, glad i went and defo going next year, yeah there wasnt as many cars as expected but still had a good time and meet some decent people. the newcastle boys were a good laugh. it definatly did had good and bad points but then again you cant be 100% of whos coming. then convoy there was sick aswell, IMO a good weekend

i got soo wasted :)

I enjoyed it, alot of very funny momments! 8-)

I didn't go personally, but in response to ant's comment I did say that it is more of a mega meet as opposed to a show.

Has it finished already then, as some of you are posting in the early afternoon, I thought today was when the main part occured, show and shine etc. Didn't think it would be over already

nah me and leon just left early as we didnt fancy driving 2 hours when we were stupidly tired! and possibly in the dark

good times all rnd tbh, had a good laugh gettin pissed, met some fukin gd people aswell :)

It was my first time and i didnt know anyone but i came home having met lots of great people and friends :-)

I drove 2 hours up from Brighton

still not sure if it was worth the long drive!

there was a great selection of cars but a burger van or the odd trade stand in those empty marquees wouldnt have gone a miss!

Thanks tho guys for putting it on!

And I hope the fella in the black 6n who I followed all the way back to heathrow got back ok!!

looking dam low that man!

Oh and I'll be taking the wasp spray next year!

over all any meet with polos are great!

great show great location! but the show and shine lacked organisation, i paid i fiver and i was told i couldnt vote cus it was too late, would have

been great if there was any communication about last vote times but there wasnt nuthin communicated pretty poor tbh, and also the show and

shine should have been classed in mark of polos ie best mk1 polo best mk2 polo best mk3 etc

This is the forth one I've been to and the first time I didn't camp the whole weekend, only went for the day today.

Much more fun when you stay overnight and camp!

I'm still glad I went though, was a decent turn out and it's always good to see the cars off here in the flesh.

I'm not sure what some people were expecting? :?

I've just got back.

First Polo Show and certainly not my last... Had a really good time, still hanging from last night and was good to meet a load of other polo nutters.

What annoyed me was people just left their rubbish everywhere, just because you're on a campsite it doesn't mean you have to live like a pig!

Those wasps must get so drunk on all the dregs of empty beer cans!

At the end of the day it's how you make it, not how it's made.

someone said there were a load of women, me and my mates were dissapointed lol

got mashup though and saw some nice cars

I like the layed back feel of the PS, though this year the cars actualy parked in nice neet rows, that felt strange.

Thought it was great.

So much better than last year!

Venue was spot on, weather was odd! had a laugh, met loads more people off here, chucked the car in the show and shine..

Alot of people saying there wasnt much to do.. fair enough, but Club Polo isn't loaded.. i thought the goody bags were a great gesture.. plus there was a go kart track (stupidly fun, drifting the bends), fun fair, crazy golf, water stuff... that's plenty to do, and if you didnt want to spend the money on that, chill out with your mates, get a BBQ on and have a drink, that's what it's all about.

Could've done with some exact times for the show and shine, worthy winners though!

Defo be coming back next year.

On 1 bad note.... whoever stole 2 of my dice dust caps can get fucked by a rusty pole.

Chris. x.

Who won the show and shine?

Vick's Mk1 Derby

Vick's Mk1 Derby

Well done to him, he's a good lad with a mint car! Did he not win last year aswel?

Oh the only dissapointment for me was I forgot to buy a polo show 2009 sticker.

Yep.

Well deserved though, the attention to detail is superb.

Liz's Bluey and Higgo's gold Mk1 were also in the top 5..

Any mk4's or mk5's in the remaining two spots?

There wernt any mate, they wernt made in time but karl said we should be able to get them soon.
