There was a 5.5J steel "6-hole" wheel in the marquee that we thought had been left behind as rubbish. One of the guys that stayed right to the end had the same wheels on his polo so I said he could take it, as it was only going to be thrown away. If your mate's going edition, I might be able to get it back for you.

Ah.... I'm guessing that'll be it then as his car was dumped in the marquee for a while! We all got up in the morning and realised it wasn't there/ couldn't find it so just assumed someone had pinched it. I'll ask him if he wants it back and get back to you haha.

I voted it was good.

a show is only as good as the people who go to it, so if no-one bothers to turn up, you cant expect it to be any good.

i went on saturday and stayed most of the day and from what i could tell, there was no-where near as many cars as the previous billing polo show.

you can hardly complain about the show being naff or what-ever if no-one can be bothered to turn up cos of a bit of rain (and for the record it wasnt that bad, some very light showers but nothing too bad)

personally i had a good time as i got to catch up with a few friends that i only ever see at the poloshow, so the fact that few cars were there didnt bother me at all.

IMO dont winge about the show, winge about the people who couldnt be bothered to go to it

Well said.

We had a polo3 meet

It was lovely to put some more faces to names and finally meet some off you :smirk: Next year I'm deffo hitting it hard all weekend with the sexy scotts

How many active members? Very disappointed in the turn out and most of you people that spend your life on here and bitching at everyone or anything, where were you? A club is what you make it and unfortunately this club is getting a bad name due to the amount of tools on here recently and the general attitude and vibe from members. If you don't like it, do us all a favour and fuck off.

I only had one problem though guys, constructive criticism mind you... A show is suppose to be a social event. It was on and off rain, you had a marquee which was empty, why was low music and shit not orgnaised for in here? I expected that from a show this size... It was all for one and none for all, everyone just sat in their tents or under a gazbo. I was a little disappointed by this because I did expect it to be a tad more social in that aspect. I did even consider driving my car in with low tunes and gathering people at one point :?

Everything else is how I expected and I know I would have had a wicked time if I had done the whole weekend!

Oh actually I have one bad point, the fucking air freshner fucking stinks and in a toilet cleaner way. It shall not be going back in my car until it's dead

Well done to all those involved to make this happen and to those who supported the club

Well said, it was a tad quiet!, we were socialising loads, going round the whole field to the early hours of the morning, 6-7am to precise on friday and saturday nights, had a great time for my first show and definately coming next year!, I couldnt think of doing anything else! :-)

Toilet duck FTW!!!!

Dirrt for PM :D

Anyone got any idea who stole the spare wheel out of my mates caddy? That was the only bad thing about the weekend IMO.

The people who are saying it was crap obviously needed to get involved! ;)

There was a wheel left in the marquee, I'm guessing it was probably his.

I voted it was good.

You should've driven your car in there to play tunes, noone would've minded it was what people were doing on the nights anyway. I tried to get people to gather in the marquee in the evenings which worked to a degree, god knows why people prefer to get soaked when a marquee is provided.

I'm not sure as to whether a marquee will be provided next year yet due to the fact that someone decided to rip open one of the doors rather than undoing the ties on it.

Yeah I gathered that's what happened at night  But I thought it was a little slack in the day to get everyone together? Just my opinion anyway :smirk:

That's a shame  Can it be fixed?

You should just have a large gazbo, shelter from rain, people can still smoke under it, won't get too hot in summer, pretty hard to break it

being gassed out in the marquee on the friday night due to the car inside it revving the tits off it, we all just had to get out of there, we did almost make it in there on the saturday during the day but we manned out the rain and it eventully cleared up.

Thanks for all the hard graft that went into making it what it was though, alot of many good people there if u just go and chat with them.

thanks to everyone that came, it was good to meet some new people and generally was a good chilled out show despite a few people causing trouble.

As Gaz said we have had a few admin problems lately and i'm very disappointed about a few things not being sorted out, as i said in another thread we all have full time jobs and its our weekends as well we don't want to be working all the time and dealing with hassle, do kind of expect people to be mature enough to look after themselves and have some common sense.

Its a show for everyone on club polo and yes i think a lot more people could have come, but i'm not overly disappointed with the turnout just think some people should be a bit more sociable and not expect us to do everything.

Beside, did some of you not bother looking around the site for food places etc???

I went to that chip shop as well, there's a cafe/restaurant/bar place round there that serves breakfast as well but having tried it one year I'd never go in there again!

Also apparently if you go across the bridge at the far end of our field, there's a pub which serves food, never tried it though.
