any one :-) ?????

take your lights off the car. (unless you're a retard with a large oven)

get the bulbs out. (they may explode making you a retard)

take off the metal clips between the plastic casing and the glass. (pretty obvious unless you're a drooling retard)

put them in the oven, about 100 for ten mins, glass side down unless you're a retard.

prise the glass away from the plastic when you take them out using a towel (unless you're a retard), easy way us using a large flat thing, like a sturdy wallpaper scraper.

paint the non reflective parts using whatever you want to, use a sharpie if you're david beckham. (also a retard)

clean the glass properly to make it clear again, not yellow. (unless you're a lazy retard)

since you've got the silicon seal still intact and haven't scraped any of it, put the glass on and back in oven. (with metal clips in place unless you're a retard and you've lost them)

get them from the oven, five minutes later silicon melted and sealed again. (using a towel unless you're a retard)

bulbs in. (or look like a retard in the dark crashing into shit)

do the other one. (or look retarded)

put them back on the car. (or look like a retard at night)

appreciate your budget mod & pass on the advice in a patronising way calling someone a retard without actually saying it.

so what wouldi paint mate teh non refelctive parts with what paint like pink acrilic of summit can u see in thought the glass wen dun

thanks nay

i've been known to use whatever's handy.

black hammerite works well with a brush and a thin pointed one for the edges near the non painted bits, my mate masked his off and sprayed but since they were old, the masking tape took off most of the reflective silver stuff.

some pics of this would be nice

cheers mate big help :-D

do it and take a picture, get a time machine and show it to yourself now.

if the pic doesn't rock up, you're never going to do it or you're never going to get a time machine which means you're not worth talking to.

and he used cheese and it melted lol do you know why?? cause hes a retard lol :-D

not too patronising there rich but made me pmsl :-)

Some pics of when i did mine

Just painted the exterior side of the lens wasn't dark enough for me.

I wanted a more uniform look and also the line between painted and non painted was too sharp, so i painted the underside of the lens, which IMO gives a better look

I also tinted the front indi's by spraying black paint into the lens itself, looked abit pants, so i sold them and used tinting spray on the exterior of the lens

The clips just come off but the lenses are still bonded to the unit so you have to heat it.

Look in the FAQ section about tinting lights, I've done mine on my 6n.

just do not for the love of god paint the reflector!!!! its prob one of the worse ideas out! its shiney for a reason! and with it painted the light out put will be reduced and the beam pattern messed up with light in the wrong places or not enough where there should be.

good advice above. i did the surround of the light and also the ridged bit on the bottom. to be honest the lights are not as bright as they used to be so i am tempted to get some replacements and do it again, but not do the ridged bit on the top and bottom this time.
