I'm selling my 1989 Polo Pick-Up and after space for another Polo project.

This wasn't modified by me, but was created with a build-blog on one of the VW forums, I'll post a link if i can scour it from within my bookmarks.

THE DETAILS:

Colour: Sand w/Black Bonnet.

71k miles.

MOT till Jan 2010.

Black 14" 5-spoke alloys.

1298 CC.

Tax till end of Aug 09.

Rev counter with loud blue light.

Standard interior.

Seats have little/no wear.

Sold with standard stereo but no speakers (the one in the pic isn't the one included).

Roof rack.

Roof fog lights.

Very few previous owners.

Good condition body work. very little rust but few scratches here and there.

I have a book recording services which have been stamped by a garage, millage kept up to date with all previous Tax Discs.

Mechanically, everything is still strong.

Authentic Mud.

THE BAD BITS:

Strange fuel smell when tank is full/almost empty

Fog lights are functional, just needs a new fuse

Steering isn't aligned, but been told isn't causing damage to wheels/tyres

I'M AFTER:

£650 or W.H.Y. - Mainly interested in another 1.3 polo of the same era but with a backside (or any polo for that matter) but will look at anything that's in good mechanical condition. Sorry, no beetles or campers.

NB:

I'm gauging interest and if the right offer arises, then this will have a happy new home!

Would you be interested in swap for an 86 coupe in black? History folder an inch thick? Mechanically really good. 90k MOT till next may/june?

Its a 1.05 at the mo but have a about 75% of a Gt conversion (Block/Gear box/CLutch/NEw cylinder head/loom/coil+few other things i think) i was going to put in that ill swap too?

Let us know, can sort some pics. Am a bit away but no worries on travelling and car is ultra reliable

Yeah, it's an inspired custom job done by another dubber. A really nice professional conversion job (but then, I would say that!)
