its unfortunately the way things are heading! With the price of polos being so low these days, they're an ideal 1st car for many people, if they have a brain or not.

Back in 2007, the show was very laid back and any problems were dealt with with a simple request. I told someone to turn their music down and it happened. Unfortunately this doesnt seem to be the case anymore.

2008 - same situation but the music comes back on again 10mins later!

I think whoever decided it was a clever idea to smear crap or whatnot all over should apologise and gtfo. You're the whole reason the scene is heading for the flush handle!

There were many people on that campsite last weekend so why do we [club polo] get accused of it?

People who weren't even there as in 'stresshead' has read something from a person who isn't a member of the club and has automatically assumed that a member of club polo has 'smeared crap' over a handle. He'll probably go blabbing on another forum, or to his chums and tell them that a member of the club has 'smeared crap' all over billings toilets... Get proof or STFU.

yes it is me. From what i read, it seemed as though there was clear evidence that it was one of the CP peeps. Sorry if it wasnt and maybe i cant work things out properly? Telling me to STFU is another reason i quit. too many people giving abuse or stupid advice when we're meant to be a community getting along.

That is ridiculous... I didn't realise people had weed all over the floors and seats an stuff. F*cking disgraceful behaviour. I hope next year these people won't be allowed in... I have a fairly good idea of who it would have been, as nobody else in the clubpolo camp caused any trouble.

One question to the VR6oc guy though... did any of the antics with the red Caddy on Saturday night in the marquee annoy any of you?

I've just read this thread back, sorry to Jon, I honestly thought it was another rumour like the vr6 owner accusing a club member of stealing his tax disc.

2 lads from club polo peed all over several toilets and were heard to remark "ha-ha yea, lets see anyone try to use these" on Saturday early morning...most of the cubicles were swimming in urine and several handles had been smeared with crap. The same lads visited the toilet later to admire their work but found it cleaned up and were understandably upset

that is no way to act, you wouldn't do that at home so why do you think you should do it here? If you're reading this now then please don't come back again.

It really is a shame that things like this have happened as it gives the club a bad name and if it was me having to clean the mess up, i wouldnt be allowing the club back again if it could be 100% proved who did it (unfortunately it probably cant). Billing is the ideal site for the show and all attempts should be made to ensure that no-one upsets the billing staff. As for the problem with all the rubbish left, maybe no-one should be allowed to leave without clearing up the area they were using first? probably sounds like babysitting again but if its the difference between holding the show there next year and hunting for another good venue, i know what i'd personally opt for.

I think that giving a bin bag out to each plot may work... We randomly found a bin bag floating around as we were packing up so all of our rubbish went into there.

We got a roll of green bin bags from the shop for a quid 50. Doesnt take a minute to put all your shit in a couple and walk to the bins.

At bugjam everyone gets there own bin bag with ticket broucher etc...

worked pretty well tbh...

Course there was still alot of mess because some people are wankers.

everyone should have been given one at the main gate, at least those that pre booked will have got one. we did say on the rules flyer that everyone needed to clean up their rubish and we had more at the gazebo if they needed one.

its not hard really is it to clean up after yourselves, shouldn't have to go around telling people.

I just hope everyone planning on attending next year reads this and learns from it.

No, I witnessed the lads walking out of the bogs bragging about it and another member was in there when it happened. It wasn't hearsay and I wasn't trying to give CP a bad rep. These were the people camped nearest to us on the corner.

As stated the only problematic people there were the lads/chavs in the Polo VR6 and the Halfords bunch they turned up with. They were the only people we had any issue with. They were also the ones prying and fiddling under our bonnets when we were eating and subsequently had there nights spoiled as we all closed our bonnets. They packed up pretty quick on sunday morning.

At one point on friday night I believe, 12am, a huge bunch of lads from the Polo club rushed into our gazeebos filled with and carrying booze and for the next 20minutes had a good old chat with them about their cars and ours. It was all very pleasant.

No the caddy antics on saturday night didn't disturb me. I drank so much liquer that I was comfortably dead to the world from 1am till about 8am sunday.... that was a good nights rest I had there

I honestly wouldn't mind the same thing next year...... minus all the ill feeling and the polo VR6 crew lol. I'd definately pop round with beer for a chat. :-)

and for the record i wouldnt be intimidated by anyone because i would have summoned all my ninja focus skills and if any one f'ed with me i'd have filled a pillow case full of bars of soap and beat the shit outta you, CP, VR6 or MK4 lol
