1983 mk1 1.3 driver for sale in a metalic british racing green (looks really nice in the sun)

Zender spoiler, gti alloys, gti blue stripe complete interior, remote central locking fitted. Old school Alpine head unit! (nothing but the best!) with small alpine speakers in the front doors and pioneer speakers in the rear speaker pods, all very subtle (planned to hide a cd changer in the glovebox).

85,000 miles! stacks of old receipts and mot's etc. Has 12 months MOT, only needed a few bulbs and 6 months tax.

Runs well, very clean although there are small dents and scratches (26 year old car!) bodywork is generally very straight and there is no rust.

Has recently had massive service including head gasket, cambelt, alternator belt, radiator, thermostat, thermoswitch, spark plugs, oil change, new coolant, oil filter, fuel filter etc.!

Asking £1700 ono, well open to offers.

£1500 seems a bit steep for 1.3 driver, i no the milage is reasonably low and its good condition but you could get a gti for not much more!

I know you could probably get a gti for less but 1.3's are much less common and more desirable because they are the perfect first car. I have spent close to £2000 on this in the last couple of months and i know i'm not getting that back, but i think its a very reasonable price for a mint little car! I am open to offers / part ex anyway but i am desperate to get on with my new project car! Cheers

Hi mate lovley mk1 uve got , fancy a matt black mk4 polo with Mk5 1.6 16v Gti conversion rr at 145bhp on collies exhaust system, induction kit , euro wheels, 16v interior, Mk5 dash and rear door cards, Mk5 rear lights, Gti engines got 60k on it shells not too far off it it don't think , 10months mot , 4 months tax, could easily be a show car i just really want a Mk1 text me mate 07999609579 cheers dean

its not unfortunetly :( 1ltr porsche eater wish it was but its quiet a nippy wee car tbh, wth 16v bumpers 6n2 rear light 6n2 seats flip key central locking boot popper and the obvious bits the coilovers and act/ronal alloys brand new tyres :-D

if you still have this next month i will be taking a trip to fife i think
