MK2 Golf GTI 8v MINT Unabused FDSH

Featured Replies

Hi guys and girls.

Regrettably i have decided too sell my much loved VW Golf mk2 GTI. I bought this car as i needed something to satisfy my needs whilst i was waiting for a payout from my insurance company. This arrived monday morning. Here are some details :

PRICE - 1750 GBP

MILEAGE - 133k Miles

ENGINE - Std 1.8 8v Digifant

COLOUR - Schwartz Black

YEAR - E Reg 1988

MOT - April 22nd 2010 (9 months) No advisories on previous ALL MOT certificates from new

TAX - 11 Months Tax

OWNERS - 5

EXTERIOR CONDITION - Great considering its years old. Solid Straight Rust free shell. Only niggles being 2 tiny dents in both front wings (unbeknwown how they got here) and slight stone chips to bonnet)

INTERIOR CONDITION - ABSOLUTELY MINT. everything working and looks like new no complaints here. No seat sag or bolster wear like many mk2s. Cars MFA works telling you otside temps etc and oil pressure. Coolant light sometimes flashes and rev counter sometimes seems a little bouncy on a gear change but i have had radiator changed etc so theres no problem it must be a loose connection in the dash.

RECENT WORK CARRIED OUT - 2 new rear wheel bearings, New stainless steel straight through exhaust, 2 new tyres, New side lights and front indicators (smoked), Newly powdercoated BBS alloy wheels. No more work needed.

SERVICE HISTORY - Full STAMPED up to date plus all paperwork from any work carried out from new.

MODIFICATIONS FROM STD - Powdercoated BBS alloy wheels and stainless steel straight through exhaust. Also smoked side repeaters and front indicators. Also comes with a laserline alarm system and cd/mp3 Kenwood headunit

LOCATION - Kent

OTHER VALUABLE INFORMATION - Last owner owned for 18 years. Car is an appreciating classic especially being the campaign edition. Great condition for age and won't find better for your money. Car comes with the private plate it is on. I also have a brake upgrade here off of the 16v version which includes 16v hubs and calipers and BRAND NEW greenstuff Pads. P/X welcome but only for one of the following :

Punto GT Turbo

Toyota Starlet Glanza Turbo

Seat Ibiza 2ltr 16v Cupra Sport

I have been as honest as possible and genuinely want this to go to the right person and be looked after.

Thanks for looking.
