right,i've just gone to try and start my 6n2.clever me didn't close the drivers door properly after some guy bumped into me on tuesday,so the cars been locked (it's fitted with an alarm and an immobiliser) with the door not properly closed.i'm guessin leavin it like this has drained the battery cos the car won't turn over,but i've tried bump starting it,jump starting it,even bouncing about on it and nothings happening.i've got to the point where all the lights are coming on the dash but it still wont start.

every now and then my immobiliser comes back to life but it's a really loud screech,then the alarm will just go off for ages.either that or it makes a clicky noise which makes me wonder whether it's the starter motor?

anyone know what i need to do?maybe reset the immobiliser?or just rip it out?

i'm stuck at my bf's who's at work and anyone else that might know is at work too.any ideas anybody?cheers,rox :)

Agreed. Flat battery + immobilsers = not good.

yerh i've already thought that cheers boys but my chargers at my house and i'm stuck 20 minutes away.hopefully be able to get it sorted later when i can get a lift down.

thinking once its sorted to rip the immobiliser out.it's honestly been more trouble than it's worth.

Had an immobiliser on a mk3 before. That was a pain in the arse too. Drained the battery if i didn tdrive the car for a couple of days.

yerh it's all sorted mate,banged it on charge or an hour and it burst back to life :) thank fuck.

yerh same,i've gotta gie it a run at least once a day otherwise the immobiliser just kills it off.
