I'm doing a GT conversion and I'm trying to find out where everything plugs in.

this is my first conversion and I'm struggling quite a bit.

can someone kindly post up some pictures of a 1.3 GT please.

if availible can they be fairly large and if anyone has it can they scan or take a picture of the engine shot in the haynes manuel.

well i got the car at christmas got the new engine in a few months later

and no the parents are getting angry ats its just sitting there so its a slow struggle

iv now got the gears connected

i have no clue how to install the fuel pump and just then have to get the hoses connected.

and sorted (i hope!!!)

gonna have a scan through it soon pal, but fair play you have never done anythin like it before and you are giving it a try!! respect pal, have you got a haynes manual??

yeah i have the mk2 polo haynes manual but the engines cant be compared and it doesnt help that much.

even worse i have a second mk2 breadvan which I'm using as a temporary drive (for whenever this one is done)

and that doesnt look at all like the 1L i took out of this breadvan!

its jokes.

cant help you with the mk3 's mate cause i haven't been near one so I'm out on this one,

although i think iv bent 1 or 2 valves when the cam belt went.

still drives though (just)

Looks like your engine might be the NZ 1.3 MPI, GT's dont have the vacuum advance on the distributor.

yeah I'm hoping a picture can help me.

if not il have to wait till i can get help off a mate.
