Good points:

- Fitted with the 1.3 MPI engine.

- Cleaned the engine bay and arches, inc around the filler neck to prevent rust.

- Painted engine bay components and the anti-roll bar, rear axle.

- Tyres all have good tread,

Bad points:

- Bonnet has rust all across the front of it,

- Couple of rust patches from stone chips at the bottom of the doors, bonnet.

- Little bit of laquar peel on the top of the d/s rear quarter,

Big Issue:

The headgasket keeps on blowing, i had the head skimmed, new bolts, seals etc. The car will start straight away and run but after a few minutes the mayo will appear again......I'm being honest if you keep filling it with water it will drive.

As it is fitted with a MPI engine it is a perfect car for a GT/G40 conversion. I would do a GT conversion myself at make some money but i need to work on my Golf and this is in the garage.

Full GT conversions go for about £150 so you can get a road legal GT saloon for about £500 which is about half the price of already converted ones.

bit of a ask, would you meet in reading for 300?

edit: and when you say its mpi, does that mean its a GT (probably a stupid question)

As the headgasket is gone i wouldnt think driving to Reading would be a good idea, also it has no tax and i would have to insure the car, alot of money to get an extra £50

Its not a GT engine, its just a normal 1.3 running on Multi Point Injection. But its perfect for a GT conversion.
