Well folks, to be honest i've been on here a good number of years, but never really posted any pictures of my Polo. That being said, i'm being very shallow now and only really putting pictures up, as, in the near future i'm hoping to sell her when i've found its replacement, and i'm hoping it will go to someone else interested in the little olops.

So the car, its an original 1991 GT, but about 2 years ago, it had a very massive overhaul between me and my grandad.

I bought a N.O.S 1.4 ABD block off HEG123, and completely rebuilt the engine with all new parts, so a fresh bottom end and rebuilt ported and polished head were bolted together, with all seals and gaskets inbetween replaced during it! This was a very expensive progress, but after the running in period, i was over the moon, and to be honest i still am, it still seems to be loosening up all the time. If i were to list everything i had replaced during the build i'd be here for hours, but it has been more than worth it.

I for a couple of years had a full Ashley exhaust system, which at the time was fan fannytastic, but with age came head aches and the loud exhuast had to go, but to not stangle the engine, i kept the 4branch decat, and mated it to a standard G40 centre section, and backbox then i got bored of the bent willy tailpipe and replaced it with a straight 2" tailpipe.

This probably isn't a very good write up, as to be honest i just like looking at pictures myself!!

I'd love to hear what people think, positive and negative, and i'm more than happy to anwser any questions.

Those wheels really suit the mk3 shape. Suprised I've not seen them used before. Very clean. Nice one.

Cheers fellas, she doesn't do bad, seen as at the minute i'm doing 500 miles a week for work in her, plus some fun at the weekend, unfortunatley i don't get as much time on her as i'd like as i've got a MK1 Golf project sucking up all my time! It looks pretty clean in the photos, but has suffered from car park door roulette alot before i had it, lots of battle scars from the prevous owner, that i think used it as a bumper car!! But she's very solid underneath thanks to my grandads handy work and lots of waxoyl!

Just a few under the bonnet, a couple from when i was wiring the front foglights, and a couple of my 256mm brakes. They are a little bit overkill, but stop the car very nicely!!!

Ow, almost forgot, the arches i did years ago, when i very first had the car, i just did them glass fibre and resin, on the back side of the arch, then a very thin layer of filler on the outside, it took a little bit to get them fit right, but the occasional re paint and they've stood up well.
