Featured Replies

Anyone please know how i remove drivers side headlight on my 6n2 gti? can i take it out without removing my bumper?

car went in for mot last week, failed on wheel bearing and sidelight both fixed -apart from ever since they replaced the sidelight i have had serious condensation in my headlight. from what i can see the inner lens has moved away from the fackin headlamp - there is a noticable gap but i can think why?????? got my hand in the back and i can push the xenon rubber casing foward to get the inner lens back in place but it wont stay flush...has the dozer forgot to put a screw or somthing back in?

Its impossible to get inside the headlight without breaking the seal so my guess is that they have buggerd it. i managed to sort this out with my indicator lenses by soaking the indicator in water and drying out with hair dryer. but with yours just use a hair dryer. you'll have to take the front bumper off though to take the headlight unit off
