Insurance on a 2005 VW Polo GT-TDI.

Featured Replies

I just got quoted for insurance on my Aunt's VW as I'm hopefully buying it in the next few weeks. It's a 2005, Polo GT (1.9, 130bhp, Turbo Diesel) and the cheapest fully comp was £760. That was with a £250 excess and me as the only driver on the policy, doing 7,000 miles a year.

That was from Quinn Direct and I found it on Confused.com. I'm 21 and have a years no claims, I think that's pretty good? Also, I'm currently with Direct Line and am thinking they may do it slightly cheaper to keep my business?

You guys think that's a good price? Also, another reason I'm asking is because I've heard mixed reviews about Quinn Direct insurance.

How much NCB/convictions you got?

try brentacre mate, they're VW specialists and only charge extra for power modifications!
