Loads of MKIII Bits

Featured Replies

Most of these parts came off my old MKIII Coupe which was written off a few years ago. I kept most of these parts in case I needed them again but since I've now got a MKIV seems a bit pointless. I need the space too, so I'm putting them up here in case they're of any use to any other members.

I've put prices on including postage as I live in the Back of Beyond and no-one ever comes this way! Lol! However, you're most welcome to collect if you're in the area. I'm just South of Hunstanton in West Norfolk.

All pictures are thumbnails as original pictures are quite large. Please PM me with your e-mail addy for larger pics.

Right then, here's the list:

1: Pair of working tailgate supports. Bit stiff due to lack of use, but work fine. £25

4: Hub Caps no Wheel Nut Caps. In fair condition. £7

snc16087.jpg

5: Instument Panel. In GWO. £18

snc16088.jpg

6: Jack Set. Found the wrench so now complete! Towing eye sold seperately. £18

snc16089.jpg

7: Drivers Side Air Vent £6

snc16090.jpg

8: Speaker Cover. £5

snc16092.jpg

9: Engine Bay Rubber Seal. In excellent condition. £10

snc16094.jpg

11: Handbrake Cover £5

snc16093.jpg

16: Ashtray & Surround. £10

snc16101.jpg

17: Triangle bit that covers bolts for wing mirrors. One clip broken but the other holds fine. £5

snc16102.jpg

18: Wiper Pump. Almost new. Was only on the car a couple of months before the accident! Twin outlet. £10

snc16103.jpg

19: Cubby. £5

snc16104.jpg

20: Oval Side Repeaters, Clear with Orange Bulbs. £6

snc16106.jpg

21: 4 Speed Gear Knob. £6

snc16107.jpg

22: Cabin light with bulb. £6

snc16109.jpg

23: Rear Window Heater Switch. £5

snc16110.jpg

27: CV Joint, new in box. £15 (Think this was originally bought for a MKII, ditto the one below)

snc16114.jpg

28: CV Joint, unused but box disintigrated a while ago! £12

snc16115.jpg

29: Rear cards. Ideal for covering (which was my plan but never got around to it!) £10

snc16117.jpg

31: Air Filter Shroud. Bit rusty on top but fine inside. £10

38515424.jpg

32: Air Filter Breather. £10

33251513.jpg

33: Can't remember what this is called! £10

snc10297.jpg

34: Tailgate. In very good condition. Starting to get a little rusty on the bottom edge due to storage, otherwise paint's pretty good. Would prefer this collected so £20.

snc10290.jpg

38: Steering tie rod end. Brand new, never used. £Reasonable Offer.

snc16116.jpg

41: Starter Motor. Was working when removed. Probably in need of a clean. Very heavy to post, hence £20

snc16273.jpg

44: Tin of Maritime Blue spray paint, Halfrauds branded. Unused so full can. Might be OK for smaller repairs. £5

snc16271.jpg

That's the lot for now! Might find some more stuff in my clearout, if so I'll update this thread.

Again, all prices (except the tailgate and petrol tank) are inclusive of postage so if you want to collect or arrange your own delivery please let me know and I'll amend the price to reflect this.

Cheers,

Fenris

It was off a 1.3, but they fit all models as far as I'm aware

Only have the springs mate, that's all I bought. Never got around to getting anything else! They're HKF. Never been out of the box.

My phone's off at the moment, so if you can just PM me that'd be best. All the above is pretty much all I have other than a patten fuel tank, but it's been in storage and I'm not sure if it's still OK.

Make it £6 (packet rate for postage) and you've got a deal. :D

Not sure what you mean. Is it a blanking plate type thingy? If yes, I do have a couple of those.

Erm, the last time I saw the indside of a Breadvan was about 15 years ago! So I'm really not sure. Isn't it just the boot section that's differen't on all MKIII's? I know these cards will fit the Saloon so I would have assumed they'd also fit a Breadvan.

Is the CV joint genuine?

It's not a VW Original part, otherwise I'd be asking more. ;)

I would prefer that they went as a pair as I'll have difficulties selling just one. :) Yes, PayPal is fine as long as it's sent as a gift. PM me if you want them and I'll send my PayPal address.
