the thought has crossed my mind, tinted the side repeaters last weekend, looks lots beta imo, and still have some spray left so maybe...

coilovers ordered earlier today, can't wait till the new wheels and suspension are on. its all starting to come together.

btw pretty sure i will want to sell the gti leathers sometime soon if anyones interested, old plan resurrected, mk3 or mk4 golf recaros re-trimmed, favouring mk4 atm

coilovers and camber adjustments ready for lowering and hopefully some negative camber:

mk4 recaros aquired after a more effort than expected, but a bargain! not 100% sure what is going on with these but should have a full mk4 interior in the near future, got to decide wether or not to get the leather retrim as well:

just got my wheels on! looks good but also a bit daft, the arch gap is epic and i can nearly get my head in it lol. but the lowering should be sorted by tomorow!

got it off! massive relief, but still have to sort out a squeak related to the spacers (was it wrong for me to use bolts straight thru as they were made to be hubcentrics? i assumed it shouldnt make any difference) and the tyres ought to be refitted as they lose pressure ovr a couple of days

i would say it was a bad idea to put a bolt throught both threads like that as it wouldnt pull tight on both surfaces.

That looks really funny with the wide wheels and 4 x 4 ride height.

It looks like a low rider when the hydraulics are pumped up!

Will look miles better when those coilovers go on.

ye wen they go back on going to run them thru the non-threaded bit. running those g60 lookalike steels in black for the time being, a great deal as i got em for absolutely nothing on decent tyres (although way too much profile). Thinking about having them banded, just put off by the big cost.

going to get some better tyres and get those coilovers done as soon as i get sum time of uni, got a standard backbox too so will be losing the letterbox :-D

in the garage now all work being done! good timing too, didnt realise how close i was to driving without an MOT, finishes today

coilovers on and exhaust changed, still needs winding down some more and its running with rake atm, but looking lots better (also a bit tilted due to the parking situation):

nope, came with it when i bought it, as far as i no it was standard but not sure

fully lowered, arch work now def on the to do list. rears wound down all the way.
