Hi, sorry for my fisrt post being a question and all that.

Just bought a 1.0 6n2 as it was pretty cheap. always had mk1 + mk2 golfs so a bit of comfort is nice.

Only problem is its a tad on the slow side! obviously i knew it would be, but its only a runaround.

Just wanted to know if there are any straight swop options for the engine/block/heads, not interested in 1.8t or gti's, just something to make it a little more driveable without that pretty much plug in and play.

spent a few hours on the search but cant seem to find much info on 6n2s

any 6n2 engine will fit, other than that is big work.

What about fuel systems and ecu's, straight swops or use original items?

Just trying to gather what id need to start collecting

spi - mpi you'd need to change the fuel pump (don't think 6n2 comes with spi) also need gearbox, engine loom and ecu - also either need to get ecu immobiliser defeated or the matching the key, ecu and immob box.
