Bit of history on work and old MOTS going back to March 2007.

Got an induction kit and everything to fit if wanted. Looks just like a BMC without the sticker

Bodywork is in not to bad condition.

Bad points:

I think the gearbox is on the way out, It has a loud whine when decelerating but all gears connect perfectly and drive with no crunching. Could just be bearings, possible easy fix if you have the time.

ABS light is on but brakes are fine, the sensor is broken on near side. Bodywork has a few dings here and there and the roof has some laquer peel, never bothered me but could do with a respray.

I rather £500. Its got a brand new clutch that has literally been driven 10 miles and the mid section and back box have done around 100 miles if that. Thats around £200 worth already. £500 is still a bargain. :)

Hi i noticed your car on egay and started doin bit o research and found it here too! I am quite interested couple of quick questions if i may.... How longs the gearbox been whining for and how bad is it (i.e deafening screech or slightly annoyin whirr :-D ) as if i did get it i would need to drive it all way back to sunny cornwall and don't fancy having to tow it back on motorway with a bit of rope I'm new to this site so bear with me....

He's off on holiday at the moment but I can answer your questions. The whining has been for a few weeks but it has only been used about 3 or 4 times since then and has just been parked up so no further damage is caused. Its quite a loud whine but only happens when you aren't accelerating. You could probably drive it back to cornwall, I reckon it will be okay, just make sure you got someone else there just encase!
