1.4 98 polo - what wheels

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just bought a 98 S 1.4 & I want to repalce the wheels.

Being a woman & a blonde (sorry) i am getting completely confused as to what size wheels I can use!!!

Please can someone just tell me what size will fit best?

Do I need to stick to the original sizes (14's)as I have been told?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks

Yet 14s arereally the best size to go, but it's all about the deep dish look.

I'm running borbet type t's 14x8 et20 all round.

Maybe look at pictures on the picture gallery on this website to get some ideas.

Thanks for that, i was beginning to think nobody would talk to me!!!

your steelies are probably 13"x5j (13" diameter 5" wide) 4x100 pcd (stud pattern) with an offset of et38 (i think thats the et) (i dont know what the offset means so i wont bother giving facts but apparently its distance from bolts to inner rim) most of us on here go 14" or 15", theres quite a few on 13"s tho, its really personal preference, you can obviously go bigger than standard width and diameter wise (i forget the maximum offset now, grrr) lol

dont worry bout being a woman and blonde its not an issue lol, i get confused all the time n I'm the complete oposite to u lol

id say that 14's are your best bet, and probably safer!

always check the offset etc, as my mate tried to run porsche rims but didnt work it out properly!

as other people will say, it all depends on the look you going for!

need any advice etc drop me a PM!

were abouts are you in Northampton, I'm just down the road!
