OK, So due to a hankering for something new and to get out of the rapidly declining "Scene" I am selling my much loved labour of love.

Model: VW Polo 3 CL

Engine: G40 conversion running the following spec:

"Stage 5" Charger

PSD Four branch and Full System

G60 injectors

PSD Induction kit

PSD Toothed belt kit

SNS Stage 5 Chip

Oil Catch Tank complimenting stealth boost return mod.

Black Perspex Scuttle cover. (Unknown origin)

Suspension:

FK Konigsport Coilovers

Brakes:

256mm Set up with Greenstuff pads on VAG Discs.

Goodridge Braided Hoses.

Wheels and Tyres:

7 and 8 x 14 RSL Cults et 26 and 15

Dunlop SP 9000 195/45/14

Exterior Styling:

Aerial hole smoothed.

Trim removed and holes smoothed.

Rear badges removed and smoothed.

Full exterior respray 3 years ago, still pretty much mint as anyone who has seen it recently will be able to testify. See pics. All body work carried out by Reflex Autoklinic

Arches rolled by Premier (as were)

Front bumper smoothed and painted.

Interior Styling:

See pics. Boot floor and door cards in leather and alcantara by Plush Automotive. Leather on Pods by MJ Interiors. Seats trimmed by AG Wells Upholstery near me. All in Bridge of Weir Leather. MOMO team 280mm steering wheel.

ICE and Security:

Minimal Sony & Hertz. (Not my priority tbh)

Cat 1 Alarm & Imob'

No expense was spared in the conversion of this car. I have receipts from VW to the tune of 1500 notes for the engine gaskets and fixings alone. Quite likely the whole car stands me at around £10k. Which is nice. I never saw it as an investment, so I never skimped on anything to save cash. Everything of worth is gen VW.

Recently featured in Golf+ (for the 3 people that read it!, Including my mum)

Its a 40k(ish) mile shell.

Engine is about 135k and was 128k at conversion stage.

Next on the horizon is something RWD, probably a Caterham type car.

There will be no regrets, the things I built this car for are no longer things that I enjoy doing. I've had plenty of time and fun with it. It's just time to move on.

I dont normally like commenting on these threads, But alex. dont break it. Give it some time at least

its alot for a g40, but when you look at what your getting its a bargain.

The log book says PY yeh. But the shell and reg belong to CL.
