What are my wheels worth?

Featured Replies

I am thinking off selling my 16v mk4 Polo

Thinking of getting it back to standard & selling bits individually...

So the wheels i think may make me the most money, but not sure what they are worth?

Porsche Cups are absolutely mint, been on the car a couple of months with brand new Continental Tyres when i put them on (covered roughly 300miles if that) 195/40/16 all round, the wheels themselves are front 7x16 & rears 9x16, they also with 4x100 - 5x130 H&R hub adapters 20mm & 45m

your best bet is to get a for sale advert up, google, browse the forums for some that have been up for sale already, and see what the going price was!

or ask on wheelwhores.com

Just trying to guage a price before i put them up for sale. As i dont know what to ask for them...

500 notes seems dead cheap to be honest though...as they are an absolutely one off set of wheels

Wheels alone are £100+ used

Polishing...painting

Pretty much new Continental tyres

Hub adapters

well figure out a price then from what you have just listed?

wouldnt pay 500 for them, maybe 400 with tyres

Get on a Porsche forum and have a look around?

i'd be willing to offer £400, I don't want them but that's what I think they're worth. Chuck up a for sale advert and go from there...

dno but do you have any more pics :D

these look to me to be a £500 plus wheel. very nice, never seen any before...i would love 9's on my olop! infact, give me these wheels lol

I'd say 400. I say this because although they may owe you more, they are quite unique, and not many people would want them on their car, not because they don't look good, but because it may not tie in with what they're after.

id say around £550 in a different market. but on here they are too big too suit most polos. if i wer you id put them on ebay for £530 make an offer. they would probs most suit the golf/audi world. at least then you can haggle people and get a good price. hope this helps.

What I'd do mate, whack them on eBay, don't put a reserve price, just get one of your mates to make an artificial reserve by placing a bid on them that you don't want them to go for less than. That way potential buyers won't be put off, and you can start them at 99p for cheaper fees, and you don't have to pay for a reserve price :)

is that the lowest you can get on them in those pics, quite like them but also love riding low.

No chance there's plenty of room, even if they are 9's!

everytings second hand now though , you dont get what you payed new for things ......

id say 5-600 :)

If i still had my polo id offer u 700 without the adaptors and 800ish with IF they were silver or black centred, the whole cream centre thing will only look good on certain cars and so your audience is immediately limited and they then know that they can haggle and get a good price out of you because there is less demand. In their current state, i wouldnt offer more than 500 with tyres because id have to re-refurbish them lol. Anymore pics of the 9's? I think with some better pics you'd help your sale a bit too.

Those Conti's are bloody good though, about 90 quid each i think!!

Good luck
