no emails nothing. guy was emailing pm'n regular as clockwork before payment was made. 1 week IS bad with no update after somebody takes you are money. Point of the post is anybody else got ripped off or being ripped off?

a wasnt asking how long others had to wait for things. was asking anybody else been ripped off? the discussion that took place via pms and email was based on that i need the lockset ASAP. is ASAP mean over a week? DUH .

This isnt ebay and some people have other things to do besides toking your parcel to the post office.

Give it afew more days and if not, start hounding him.

1 week isn't that bad. I'd calm your ass down if I were you. How do you know something bad hasn't happened to him? For all you know he could be in a serious situation and you'll look a right idiot.

As soon as possible to the seller will mean a soon as he/she can possibly get your stuff sent. Obviously as soon as possible for you means something else. He/she may have a full time job 9-5 so can't get to the post office until weekends.

I sold a CD player on Wednesday night and feel bad that it's not posted yet, i've been working 9-5 and worked this morning so still can't get to post it; that's life i'm afraid.

Have you got the sellers email address to contact him that way, did you get his phone number?

Don't worry about it too much mate. Give it another week or so then pursue him.

You don't know the meaning of waiting mate, I bought my alloys on the 6th of July, and I'm still waiting...I'm still in contact with the seller though

i seriously laugh at people who'll happily transfer their well earned monies to somebody that they've not even spoken to over the phone, or got some form of alternative contact for them?... and then complain about it afterwards

The guy can seem like a twonk at times with his over sized and colourful 'X2's that really do my nut in for some reason but I doubt that he's out to scam you, like has been said he probably can't contact you because of his ban. Give it more time.

Like i said earlier he knows and understands I need it ASAP. I had other sellers i coulda got it off at roundabout the same price but he went few quid cheaper. understanding was to get it to me asap as i have a knacked steering lock assembly and barrel with no key and a MOT looming. So fair dues guys for saying. hey its not that long and hey wait a bit longer and maybe hes got issues. I was selling a laptop yrs ago on ebay when my grandfather died. The laptop was the last thing on my mind and thinking of posting it. I still emailed the buyer n apologised and gave an update of it going to be late and why. No, not everybody wants to talk about personal stuff and maybe just hide away.
