listen mate the fact still remains they are fog lights, whether you have changed the wattage of the bulb or the angle of projection they are still fog lights and police will see them as such and will still treat it as driving with fogs on. you are not going to go anywhere that is going to sign anything claiming that they are anything other than fog lights need making it legal for you to drive with them on. if you are so concerned about driving with lights on in the bumper then why not go and buy a car with driving lights already installed?

or instead of going through that hassle why not just wire your fogs up to your sidelights so when you flick the sidelights on your fogs come on. that way at least you can be ignorant if the plod pull you over. as if you relocate your sidelights to your fogs youl loose the use of your sidelights as the lenses arent designed to be used with such low wattage bulbs

No we are help, your just not reading through things, or thinking.

Go on then, go find the exact law, and then try fight against a copper when you read out your list of why they should be made legal, and then get hit with a bigger fine due to you contesting it in the first place.
