Hi just a quick one as i am spraying my gti splitter the same colour as my car which is a 1.4 mpi y reg, was wondering how i find out what colour it is, cars normally have codes on them somewere? will be spraying it with halfords stuff!

i would go to halfords to get plastic primer , go to you are local vw garage and they will get u the ryt paint dont but halfords because it is not allways the same shade

cheers is it expensive do you no to get it from them?

halfords mixed up paint is bang on, off the shelf not so close!

The color code is in your manual that you get with the car or in your boot or spare wheel i belive, mine is in my boot, stick your head in and look directly down and it should be there.

The service book has the following details on a sticker, which you'll find on the inside front cover;
