then came the decision on what wheels to choose, firstly i tried a set of rota slipstreams i had lying around but they were way to wide and ended up hitting the coilover adjuster :x

Cheers guys :-D

the coilovers i got are the TA Technics ones, personally i think it rides perfect, round corners its nice and stiff with fack all body roll but then when u hit any imperfections in the road like bumps or small potholes u hardly even notice them, got them at quite a fair price to 8-)

looks phat with the cross spoke rims!

Orange indis and shizz look good. leave it as it is. Also put the rear badge back on the boot but paint it black.

I like it as it is!!

looks nice smooth the badge and handle recess on the boot be perfecto :)

wheels and stance make the car imo. this looks great on both counts!

Cheers guys 8-)

think the next thing is to get some filler and spray paint and get smoothing on that badge recess, migte have a go at smoothing the boot handle a little bit to male it blend into the bootlid a bit better :-D

but in the meantime if a cheap set of 6n2 rears pop up then ill be snappingg them up 8-)

Time for an update i think

Only a small one for now because today the postman made a visit :-D

New tyres arrived 195/50/15 Yokohama Parada Spec 2s, i know ill probably get ripped for not going for stretch but i have a reason, firstly i dont trust stretch  and secondly if my plans for the GTI engine conversion go ahead then i'll be wanting grip 8-)

And also my valver brakes turned up :-D Just standard valver brakes at the minute but soon i'll be ordering new grooved discs and red stuff pads 8-)

cheers :-D

Loving them wheels mate, subtle little mods make a diff, good on you! (glad you didnt go for stretch) :ninja:

Looks really really nice mate :) I wouldnt change anything outside the car now - looks spot on 8-)

Redstuffs on the road will cause an accident. Be sensible and get a proper set of fast road pads.

I wasnt to sure what to do with pads tbh panda as in the new year i'll be using it as a track slag so wanted some that'll stop me fast! but then i agree with what ure saying if I'm using it as a daily aswell, would u recomend using something like the Green Stuff pads?

cheers for your kind comments everyone :-D

just get fast road pads mate, best for on the road and at the end of the day, if you are gonna run it as a track slut in the new year, its only a set of pads... dont cost an arm and a leg!

Looks amazing man

i loved it lowered on steelies :p

I liked it on the steelies to tbf

But sadly enough it handled like a bag of sh1te so no good lol

Hence why i bought some nice Yoko's :-D

This looks nice I like it :D

What's wrong with red stuff pads? I'm not defending them as I know nothing about them, was just wondering why they're unsafe for the road?

How come you went for 195/50's?

This looks nice I like it :D

they're race pads mate, need warming up and need to stay warm or they might aswell not be there.

Looking tidy....

Was ideally lookin for 195/40s but then came across the 50s rather cheap so was a bargain not to miss tbh :-D

Not sure what shes gunna look like with the 50s tbh but i shall whack them on and see how low i can go 8-)

If anyones rollin on 195/50s on a 15x7 rim and coilys post up a pic of how low u were

Sam

That's how low I was with 15x7 and 195/45's, with quite abit of rubbing aswell
